Siberia: Drama About Reality Show Contestants Uncovering Dark Secrets Set to Premiere July 1.

NBC has acquired the one-hour series “Siberia” from Sierra/Engine Television and Oscar-nominated producer Michael Ohoven’s Infinity Films. The series will premiere Monday, July 1 at 10 p.m. ET.

“NBC immediately saw the potential in ‘Siberia’ and this acquisition truly exemplifies the quality of this groundbreaking series. We are excited to bring it to their viewers,” said executive producer Chris Philip, who also serves as CEO for Sierra/Engine Television.

“We created the series as a dramatic human experiment shot under difficult conditions and we are thrilled to see it on NBC,” said Ohoven.

“The concept of survival, when mysterious elements are at play, makes for a compelling show,” said Jeff Bader, President, Program Planning, Strategy and Research for NBC Entertainment. “We believe a scripted series that offers an insightful behind-the-scenes view of how a reality concept comes together — especially when things don’t go according to plan — will connect with our audience in a very satisfying way.”

In 1908, a meteor hit deep into the remote Siberian territory of Tunguska. Now, more than 100 years later, 16 contestants descend on Tunguska unknowing of the land’s mysterious past. When a contestant is badly injured and no help arrives, the contestants are met with the chilling realization that the strange occurrences are not part of the show. With their safety threatened, competing contestants must band together in an effort to survive.

Oxygen’s fan-favorite original series “Bad Girls Club” returns to Miami in its 11th season airing Tuesdays this summer. The newest Bad Girls are bringing the heat to South Beach, and with personalities this big drama is sure to follow. Miami was previously home to the Bad Girls of season 5, and the seven newest cast members are ready to live up to their predecessors’ wild antics. The beaches and clubs of this party city will never be the same.

Last week, part two of the three-part reunion for “Bad Girls Club” Atlanta delivered 1.5 million total viewers, earning a season high among all key demos. In the 8pm hour, Oxygen was also the #1 cable network among women 18-49 and women 18-34, out delivering ABC. The series also dominated the conversation online becoming the most tweeted about series on broadcast and cable for the night, according to SocialGuide.

The “Bad Girls Club” Atlanta reunion concluded last night as the housemates confront Alicia about her explosive exit from the house, while Nicky takes out her pent-up frustrations on an unexpected target. The series premiere of “Bad Girls All Star Battle,” will move to its regular time next Tuesday, May 28 at 8PM ET.

“The Voice” coach Blake Shelton, as well as advisor Sheryl Crow, are set to perform on the hit NBC musical competition series next week.

Shelton will perform “Boys ’Round Here” on the May 27 edition of the show, while Crow will sing “Easy” on May 28.

From T-shirt time to suit and tie! Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio shared a new look with his Instagram followers on Monday.

The former Jersey Shore star posted a photo of himself giving a double thumbs up to a very different hair do. It appears Delvecchio, 32, swapped his trademark blow-out for a sleek new hairstyle.

Somebody is knocking on Mary J. Blige’s door and it is the tax man.  The IRS has just put a 3.4 million dollar tax lien on the assets of  Mary J. Blige.  

The IRS paperwork shows Blige failed to pay taxes for 3 years (2009, 2010, and 2011.)  In  addition, the state of New Jersey says she owes almost another million in state taxes.   On top of all that, she is being sued for defaulting on a 2-million dollar bank loan.  Not to mention her charity is being sued for failing to satisfy another loan for a quarter of a million dollars.

Kevin Spacey saved a life of a shelter dog by adopting “Boston” from the North Shore Animal League in North Carolina.   Spacey named the female pooch Boston to honor the city and its people following the Boston Marathon bombing.  The adorable Boston will join Spacey’s 15-year-old terrier mix, Mini, whom he adopted from Battersea Dog’s Home in London. Thanks to the volunteers at Surry County Animal Shelter in North Carolina Boston now happily shares Spacey’s home and love.

“From my home to his, it feels fantastic,” said Rachel Hiatt who helps rescue dogs from the Surry County Animal Shelter. “I couldn’t believe it! I was so happy for her and of course I cried.” 

As if we needed another reason to love the talented Kevin Spacey!

Facebook ran an ad last month with Eminem’s song ‘Under the Influence.’ Mark Zuckerberg used the ad in a webcast by to announce a new interface for Android phones called Facebook Home.

Eminem’s music company, Eight Mile Style is suing Facebook and an ad agency, saying they copied music from Enimem’s song.

The Quadriyyah ”Quad” Webb mug shot photo from her arrest for “aggravated assault domestic violence” was on display last night on Married to Medicine compliments of Ms.Toya.   The Quad Webb-Lunceford mug shot photo does exist in the Fulton County Sheriffs database along with an arrest record for an “aggravated assault domestic violence” charge against “Quadriyyah Monique Webb”

Earlier in the season, Quad revealed her husband’s mug shot to Bravo viewers. So why didn’t Quad also reveal  her own mugshot taken a day before Gregory’s, or did Bravo edit it out?  TVFishbowl can now reveal that the Quadriyyah Webb and Gregory Cicero Lunceford arrests appear to possibly be related. Both Quad and Gregory were arrested for aggravated assault within twenty-four hours of one another by the same police department and both were released from custody on the same day after being in jail for two (Greg) and three (Quad) days.

First, Quad’s arrest record reveals that she was arrested and charged by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department on February 24, 2011 for aggravated assault domestic violence. Quad would stay in jail for three days. Second, the day after Quad’s arrest, on February 25, 2011, Gregory was arrested also for aggravated assault. Gregory was given a second felony charge for obstructing an officer. Quad’s arrest record shows that she was released on a $10,000 on February 27, 2011.  On February 27, Gregory after spending two days in jail was also released on $5,000 bond for his two charges.

Last night, Donald Trump named his All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.  The two celebrities in the running were Trace Adkins and Penn Jillette.

Huey Lewis and The News fans are wet with excitement,  to celebrate their 30^th anniversary they have just released a re-mastered version of their big hit album, ‘Sports.’  The album was #1 in 1983 with songs like ‘The Heart of Rock ‘n Roll,’ and ‘I Want A New Drug.’   Huey says that stuff doesn’t sound dated at all.  So this just re-introduces the band to a new generation.

E! News is reporting superstar supermom Beyoncé is expecting her second child with hubby Jay-Z.

Rumors first began churning that the Grammy winner was with child when, earlier this month, she walked the red carpet at the Met Gala wearing a custom-made Givenchy gown that deftly concealed her stomach, its bodice cinched high above the waist just as its intricate pattern made it difficult to discern any change in her silhouette.

The report confirms the rampant speculation that Queen Bey was again with child that followed her cancellation of a recent performance in Belgium. Quick, everyone start your Beyoncé Baby #2 birthday and naming pools.

Mike Jeffries, the CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, said he only wants young, slim, sexy people in his stores and that “a lot of people don’t belong in our clothes.”  So Kirstie Alley and a lot of parents are boycotting, saying that is the mindset of bullies.  They won’t let their kids wear the clothes any more.  There is now a YouTube effort to get people to give the clothes away to homeless people.  They’re calling it a “Fitch the Homeless” campaign.

The American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards™ were created in 2010 to celebrate the remarkable bond between dogs and people. This annual national competition searches out and recognizes America’s Hero Dogs, who unconditionally avail themselves to us in so many important ways, whether it’s saving lives on the battlefield, lending sight or hearing to a human companion, providing therapeutic support to children suffering from cancer, or just greeting us with a wagging tail at the end of a hard day.

Heroic hounds have been nominated in one of eight categories: Law Enforcement & Arson Dogs; Service Dogs; Therapy Dogs; Military Dogs; Guide Dogs; Search and Rescue Dogs; Hearing Dogs; and Emerging Hero Dogs (for ordinary dogs who do extraordinary things or are just heroes to us). Finalists in each category will be selected by the American public via online voting, and following the announcement of the eight finalists, the public and a special blue-ribbon celebrity judging panel will have the chance to name the top American Hero Dog of 2013.

But deep down Alice knows this world is real, and just in the nick of time the sardonic Knave of Hearts (Michael Socha) and the irrepressible White Rabbit (John Lithgow) arrive to save her from a doomed fate. Together the trio will take a tumble down the rabbit hole to this Wonderland where nothing is impossible.

From Disney•Pixar comes a spooky new tale featuring all of the favorite characters from the “Toy Story” films. What starts out as a fun road trip for the “Toy Story” gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this “Toy Story of Terror.”

The cast of “Toy Story of Terror” includes Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Carl Weathers as Combat Carl/Combat Carl Jr., Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head, Wallace Shawn as Rex and Kristen Schaal as Trixie.

“Toy Story of Terror” is produced by Galyn Susman and directed by Angus MacLane. The special, from Disney•Pixar, will premiere on ABC in October 2013.

The people of Arcadia, Missouri are forever changed when their deceased loved ones suddenly start to return. An 8-year-old American boy (Landon Gimenez) wakes up alone in a rice paddy in a rural Chinese province with no idea how he got there. Details start to emerge when the boy, who calls himself Jacob, recalls that his hometown is Arcadia, and an Immigration agent, Martin Bellamy (Omar Epps), takes him there. The home he claims as his own is occupied by an elderly couple, Harold (Kurtwood Smith) and Lucille Garland (Frances Fisher), who lost their son Jacob more than 30 years ago. While they look different, young Jacob recognizes them as his parents. Those closest to the family try to unravel this impossible mystery, including Sheriff Fred Garland (Matt Craven), whose wife Barbara drowned 30 years ago while trying to save Jacob. But this boy who claims to be the deceased Jacob knows secrets about his own death that no one else knows — secrets that Fred’s daughter, Gail (Devin Kelly), will begin to investigate and discover to be true.

Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films, as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange and the unknown around the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson’s team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage; Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), expert pilot and martial artist; Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), brilliant engineer; and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), genius bio-chemist. Dr. Joyce Brothers — once considered the most famous psychologist on the planet — has died in NYC at the age of 85.

Brothers became famous after winning “The $64,000 Question” game show in 1955 — the show that triggered the game show scandal in the ’50s.

Brothers won by answering a series of questions on the subject of boxing — and although there was a lot of talk that producers slipped her the answers, it was never proven and Brothers emerged unscathed.

The good doc went on to do countless television and radio appearances. She was always the go-to person for reporters when a criminal did something that defied logic.

She also did cameo appearances in movies — including “Naked Gun” and “C.H.i.P.s” … and also appeared on TV shows like “The Love Boat.”

Brothers was married to internist Milton Brothers since 1949 … he died in 1989 … and the couple had a daughter, Lisa.

She had her own relationships advice TV show in New York and her books have been translated into 26 different languages.

A rep for Brothers tells TVFishbowl she died after a long illness.

CBS, the top-rated television network, is relying on a group of name-brand producers, including Jerry Bruckheimer, Chuck Lorre, Greg Garcia and David E. Kelley, and stars, including Robin Williams, Will Arnett and Marg Helgenberger, for its 2013-14 series pickups.

The network is adding eight series, including three dramas and five comedies, but there are no details about when they will premiere during the season. The Beverly Hills Cop remake is not among the pickups.

At the same time, CBS is canceling veterans CSI: NY and Rules of Engagement and first-season dramas Vegas and Golden Boy.

Golden Boy stars Theo James and Chi McBride, the series — which debuted to 10.56 million viewers — has seen mediocre ratings throughout its first season, bringing in between 7-10 million viewers per episode. “Golden Boy” was truly on the bubble between cancellation and renewal.

“Cop dramas are pretty much as old as television itself,” McBride, who plays Detective Don Owen, said of the series ahead of its premiere. “But the difference is that this is more about relationships than just the case of the week. The writers do a pretty good job of balancing the procedural and character development. That’s the greatest difference in these shows.”

CBS will make its presentation to advertisers this week in New York.

The latest pickups, the drama Reckless and the comedy Friends With Better Lives, came Sunday.

The network describes Reckless as a “sultry” legal show set in Charleston, S.C., where a lawyer from the north and a southern city attorney have to deal with their intense attraction as they clash over a police sex scandal. The cast includes Cam Gigandet and Anna Wood.

Friends, which features James Van Der Beek, Brooklyn Decker and Kevin Connolly, looks at a group of 30-something friends who each think the other has it better.

Other new dramas include:

• Hostages, from executive producer Bruckheimer. Based on an Israeli format, this series, which stars Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott, looks at a family caught in the middle of a political conspiracy that will change their lives forever.

• Intelligence, which is based at U.S. Cyber Command and follows a unit centered on an agent with a microchip in his brain that lets him access the electromagnetic spectrum. The cast includes Josh Holloway, Helgenberger and Meghan Ory.

Here are descriptions of the comedies.

• We Are Men focuses on a young man who makes friends with the more experienced guys he meets at a short-term rental complex. It features Chris Smith, Kal Penn, Tony Shalhoub and Jerry O’Connell.

• Mom, which stars Anna Faris and Allison Janney, is the latest series from Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men executive producer Lorre. In Mom, a newly sober single mom tries to put her life together in Napa Valley.

• The Millers, from Raising Hope’s Garcia, follows a recently divorced guy (Arnett) whose life gets more complicated when his parents have their own marital problems. It also features Margo Martindale, J.B. Smoove and Beau Bridges.

• Crazy Ones, which stars Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar, focuses on a father and daughter in the workplace world of advertising.

TNT has ordered a second season of the powerful docudrama Boston’s Finest, which recently completed its first season. The unscripted series offers viewers an up-close and very personal look at the men and women of the Boston Police Department and what it takes to protect one of America’s greatest and most distinctive cities. TNT has ordered six episodes for the second season of Boston’s Finest, which is set to return in early 2014. As part of the TNT renewal, sister network CNN plans to encore the series.

Boston’s Finest is executive-produced by Donnie Wahlberg (Blue Bloods) and Seth Jarrett and Julie Insogna-Jarrett (Celebrity Ghost Stories) and comes to TNT from Jarrett and Insogna-Jarrett’s Jarrett Creative Group and Wahlberg’s Donnie D. Productions. In its first season, the show averaged 1.3 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery.

Unlike many unscripted series about law enforcement, Boston’s Finest follows the fearless actions of the entire Boston Police Department, including patrol officers, detectives, special task forces and members of the SWAT Team, the Fugitive Unit and highly decorated Gang Unit. In addition to following the officers while they are on duty, Boston’s Finest provides a glimpse into their personal lives when they are off the clock and living in the same neighborhoods they protect each day.

During the first season of Boston’s Finest, viewers got to know officers like Jenn Penton, who joined the force after a military stint in Afghanistan and whose twin sister has been battling addiction; Diamantino “D” Araujo and Manny Canuto, who grew up together as best friends in Roxbury and now partner together on the gang squad; and Officers Greg and Nancy Dankers, who work opposite shifts, making home life a challenge for the couple and their twin sons.

Boston’s Finest not only celebrates the bravery of officers who risk their lives every day, but also showcases the heart and soul of one of the oldest and proudest police departments in the nation.

TNT has greenlit Inside Job, a new unscripted series that puts executive job candidates through a truly unique screening process that includes being spied upon by a company insider in order to find the most suitable candidate. The series is being produced for TNT by All3Media America/Studio Lambert (Undercover Boss, The Million Second Quiz), with creator Stephen Lambert and Eli Holzman serving as executive producers. TNT has ordered six episodes of Inside Job, with plans to launch the series in 2014.

Each week on Inside Job, one of America’s hottest companies will invite four highly qualified job candidates to compete for a six-figure executive position. For one week, they’ll live together, work together and play together as part of the interview and hiring process.

What the candidates don’t know, however, is that one of their fellow candidates is already a management executive of the company. This undercover insider will monitor every move the job candidates make – good or bad – and report the findings back to the boss. At the end of the week, the insider will be revealed, and it is the insider who will decide who is the most deserving candidate to be offered the job of a lifetime.

Other than the cast and crew of Southland I seriously doubt anyone is more upset about its cancellation than I.  Michael Cudlitz who portrayed John “Coop” Cooper on Southland reacts to the cancellation.  I just do not understand how shows like Rizzoli and Isles continue to stick around and great shows like Southland get  put on ice.

“We’ve gotten a three-year extension on a death notice, so no matter what, we’re thankful to everyone at TNT for that. The network has not asked us to change our vision or do something else that may or may not get better ratings or be easier to market. They have loved the show. They have specifically told us to make the show that we make. And we feel that we’re living and dying by the sword in the sense of we have not compromised. So we can walk away from this at any point feeling that artistically we have set out to do what we wanted to do and achieved it. And we are all extremely, extremely proud of what we have made, as I know is Warner Bros. and TNT. And if we were to have to walk away, we would all be better artists for it and have left a wonderful footprint in this business.”

Southland gave us the stories of the LAPD in a way that we had never before seen. The rough-around-the-edges cop drama sucked fans into the professional and personal lives of its complex heroes. From Ben the rookie cop who lost his moral center to the Coop the veteran who tried desperately to find happiness in a sea of devastation, Southland‘s stories left an impact on its viewers.

The other stars of Southland weighed in on the show and its cancellation at EW here is what they had to say.

Ben McKenzie (Ben): “I would hope [viewers] take away that it was an honorable show. It was a well-intentioned show that did its best to portray a certain side of law enforcement, particularly LAPD officers and particularly, from my point of view, patrol officers, although there are detectives in it too. And it used some of the cutting-edge things that are happening in television right now — technology, more cutting-edge storytelling, some improvisational dialogue and a real commando mentality — to what had previously been a safer way of shooting these things in less intense, less visceral ways of filming your ‘typical cop show.’ [Southland] brought depth and reality and immediacy to that. That’s what I would hope people would get out of it. I just hope we made a good show and people enjoyed it, and I hope it stands up. I hope people can watch years from now and say ‘That was a good episode,’ ‘I like what they did there,’ ‘I like his performance,’ or ‘I like that shot.’ I think it’s a good show, and I think that the people that really like it really, really like it. I would rather fewer people watched it and loved it for its attempts at authenticity.”

Shawn Hatosy (Sammy): “It’s rare that you get to create something as artistic as Southland. To me, it feels like art. We all work so hard and being an artist is kind of like being a parent in the way it’s something that comes from within you that you create, you put out there, you nurture, you care for, and truthfully, if you’re good at it, nobody’s going to love it more than you. And that’s the same way with a kid. We had this screening for episodes 9 and 10 and it was just an opportunity. I wanted to look at the people, look them in the eyes, and just enjoy the notion that we created this together, because I do think that in years to come that, people will putSouthland on a list of one of the best cop shows ever. So I just wanted to take a moment to look at the people who spent five years working on it and just embrace that a little bit, because you don’t really get a chance to do that. So I was thankful to have that.”

Regina King (Lydia): “The bar has been set so high with this cast and crew that I can only hope that any project that I work on from here on out can at least come within 70 percent of what we have on Southland. It’s going to be really hard to duplicate that, all the way from the quality of the work to the work ethic of the crew. The LAPD has been so amazingly supportive. I just hope that at this point, if this is the last season, that at least we could get some type of award recognition — Michael could be recognized for an incredible season. If we’re not coming back and that happens, that would mean it would at least feel like all of the work that all of these people have done did not go unnoticed. However, it does not make the show any less fantastic.”

Gay used to be a Hollywood sin, so it begs the question; Is Hollywood trying to put “The Gays” back in the closet?  That is the question a lot of people are asking, in the past couple of weeks networks have canceled a large number of shows that feature openly gay characters.

NBC’s The New Normal and CBS’ Partners are shows that featured meaningful gay story lines  and both have been given the axe by network executives. Both shows featured two happy, committed gay couples and were semi-autobiographical series about the lives of their openly gay creators; Ryan Murphy and Ali Adler creators of The New Normal and David Kohan (not gay) and Max Mutchnik creators of CBS’ Partners.

Also axed are shows that featured prominent gay characters,  Southland on TNT featured Michael Cudlitz who portrayed semi-closeted LAPD officer John Cooper and  Happy Endings, whose Max Blum (Adam Pally) was dubbed by critics the least stereotypical gay character on TV.

Then there is Glee, which has not been canceled and continues to have two gay male characters (Kurt and Blaine) and one lesbian female character (Santana) at the center of its show.  It is rumored that Heather Morris, a fan favorite, may not be returning to the show because producers or the network are cutting out her bisexual character Brittany, whom I might point out was largely involved in a heterosexual relationship this season.  It is important to note that Heather is pregnant in real life, so it is not unreasonable to believe that her real life pregnancy could be the reason for her characters departure.

Many are asking if Hollywood studios and networks are giving into pressure from anti-civil rights anti-gay groups.   It is no secret that many of these organizations are not only behind the funding of political campaigns, but they are also the money behind some of Hollywood’s biggest hits. 

A November Hollywood Reporter survey found that gay characters on TV — including couples on the recently renewed Modern Family and Grey’s Anatomy – were helping drive voters to a historically unprecedented support of gay marriage.

“This data would suggest that seeing this stuff makes it more socially acceptable,” THR pollster Jon Penns said at the time. “Views on gay marriage have exponentially gone in its favor since 2002.”

It is important to note that the ratings for most of the canceled series were less than stellar.  I agree that showcasing diversity is a great thing for primetime programs and I believe networks should encourage programs with diverse casts and characters.  But, should studios and networks do it at the expense of ratings and content that people actually want to watch?

The voices of the dead come to life in the true-crime limited series “Final Witness,” which offers a unique look at some of the nation’s most shocking murders. In the series premiere, “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” the program revisits the cold-blooded murders of almost every member of the Caffey family in rural East Texas. At 3:00 a.m. on March 1, 2008, Terry Caffey, 41, and his wife Penny, 37, were shot as they slept, and their two young sons, Bubba, 13, and Tyler, 8, were brutally killed by the same perpetrators. Despite being shot multiple times and with 5 bullets in him, Terry survived the attack. After the house had been ransacked and set ablaze by the killers, Terry was able to escape through a bathroom window and dragged himself through the woods for about 400 yards to the closest neighbors for safety. Fortunately, Terry was able to identify one of the shooters, but the road to justice would contain shattering revelations when he learned who was implicated in the murder.

Told from the imagined vantage point of slain wife and mother Penny Caffey, “Final Witness” interweaves scripted scenes with actual crime scene interrogation video and real-life first-person interviews with Terry Caffey, Texas Ranger John Vance, Prosecutor Lisa Tanner and others who knew the victims and the perpetrators, to tell the story of this horrific crime in indelible fashion.

Anthony E. Zuiker, the creator of the “CSI” franchise, begins production on his first primetime reality series “Whodunnit?” Cris Abrego partners with Zuiker for the new nine-episode summer alternative series, which is produced by Zuiker’s Dare to Pass and 51 Minds. The series puts 13 contestants’ investigative skills to the test in a new mystery reality competition this summer on ABC.

Each week players will use a variety of crime scene investigation techniques to meticulously uncover evidence that will ultimately reveal who among them is the killer. The interactive series will pit 13 amateur sleuths against each other in a quest to solve a series of puzzling murders. Some will form alliances and others will choose to go it alone just to get them closer to the grand prize. The contestants will reside on a glamorous estate where each week they must solve a new crime in order to advance in the game. Failure to solve the crime will lead to each player’s demise until only three are left. In the final episode, one player will unmask the killer and take home the $250,000 prize.

“I’ve built a career telling crime stories, and if there’s one thing that I’ve learned, especially from ‘CSI,’ it’s that the audience loves to solve the mystery,” said Zuiker. “‘Whodunnit?’ allows everyday fans to be in the show themselves and get the chance every week to do what they love best, which is ultimately solve the case.”

Fox has picked up “Junior Master Chef”, a new culinary competition series for talented kids between the ages of eight and 13 who love to cook, as part of a new multi-year deal with award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay, it was announced today by Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

As part of Ramsay’s new deal, FOX also has picked up one additional season of Hell’s Kitchen and two more seasons of Master Chef. The deal will extend Hell’s Kitchen to a 13^th season and bring Master Chef to a fifth and sixth season. The addition of Junior Master Chef brings the total number of Ramsay-led shows airing on FOX to five, including Master Chef, Hell’s Kitchen, Hotel Hell and Kitchen Nightmares.

Junior Master Chef is based on the hugely successful U.K. format and extends the Master Chef brand in the U.S. to include a younger group of aspiring masterchefs. Produced by Shine America and One Potato Two Potato, Junior Master Chef will give budding cooks the exciting opportunity to showcase their talent, culinary smarts and passion for food through a series of delicious challenges and cook-offs. Similar to Master Chef, Ramsay will be joined by restaurateur and winemaker Joe Bastianich (Del Posto, Eataly) and acclaimed chef Graham Elliot (Graham Elliot, Graham Elliot Bistro) on the Junior Master Chef judging panel. Together, the celebrated food experts will coach and encourage the promising hopefuls to cook like a pro and teach them the tricks of the trade along the way.

In a special two-hour episode of Hell’s Kitchen airing Monday, May 13 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), Chef Ramsay announces that Hell’s Kitchen will be hosting a very intimate dinner for distinguished members of the United States Army. Then, in another intense dinner service, Chef Ramsay challenges both teams to design and execute their own team menus – one team falters and finds itself in a confrontational elimination round, and one more chef is sent home for good.

His client list includes various celebrities and even heads of state. As a “Captain to the Stars,” Aleks prides himself on providing the best service possible and that combined with his personable manner and sense of humor makes him a favorite of his clientele.

Adrienne Gang, Chief Steward – A veteran of the yacht industry, chief stewardess Adrienne Gang lives by the philosophy “work hard, play hard.” The 29-year-old is the picture of professionalism during work hours, but off the clock she loves to relax and enjoy the beautiful destinations she visits. In conjunction with her career as a yachtie, she is also a professional Chef who cooks for celebrity entertainers while they are on tour. She has a knack for knowing what clients want before they ask for it. Yacht life suits her because she loves to travel and becomes restless when in the same place for too long.

CJ LeBeau, Second Engineer – C.J., 32, discovered his passion for sailing while spending several months vacationing with friends after college to exotic locales like the Caribbean, Columbia and the San Blas Islands. This coastal Californian native, who serves as marine engineer aboard “Honor,” likes to explore the nightlife while in port and tries hard not to get into too much trouble.

Samantha Orme – Steward – A 25-year-old Palm Harbor, Florida native, Samantha has yachting in her blood. She got her start as a stew working charters for her parents, who owned a yacht that her father built, by hand, over the course of 20 years. A graduate of Florida State University, Samantha believes her industrial engineering degree sets her apart from the typical uneducated “yachty” drifter. During her senior year at FSU, she worked with NASA redesigning the avionics mounting structure for the Ares I Rocket. She loves the feeling of being on the open sea and building close relationships while living in close quarters. As a steward, “stew,” Samantha is responsible for helping the chief stew in all aspects of the ship, from cleaning to laundry to making sure the guests are happy and everything in between.

David Bradberry, Deckhand – David Alanson Bradberry immediately joined the Marines after graduating high school, where he received the majority of his experience on the water. David served as a Marine Embassy Guard for three years, which afforded him the opportunity to see the world, being stationed in places like Japan, Liberia and Italy. David’s love of travel, work ethic and sense of adventure make him a perfect candidate for working at sea and knows his Marine training will prove beneficial while at sea.

Ben Robinson, Chef –Ben Robinson, 31, is accomplished both on land and sea. He worked under Italian master chefs in Florence and gained an apprenticeship at 3-Michelin Star restaurant “The Fat Duck,” based in the United Kingdom. Ben has been the head chef on yachts for over 7 years, including the largest sailing yacht in the world. Ben was born in Oxford, England and continued to attend boarding school there when his parents moved to the US. He now lives in Ft. Lauderdale when he is on dry land. Ben enjoys his bachelor status and enjoys himself when in port. Ben dreams of one day owning his own Michelin-Star restaurant.

Eddie Lucas, Deckhand – Eddie Lucas, 26, was raised on the east coast attending boarding schools and exploring recreational diversions on the Chesapeake and Buzzards Bays. Early on he learned to ski, fish and took advantage of any offered outdoor educational opportunities including earning a degree in Adventure Education from Green Mountain College, becoming proficient in rafting, rock climbing and scuba diving. After surviving a car accident five years ago, Eddie learned to live life to the fullest and to appreciate everything he has.

Kat Held, Second Steward – This 27-year-old ‘jokester’ began a career in yachting after a summer of recreation sailing in her home town of Rhode Island. Working several years as an assistant in a psychiatrist office, she grew an interest in discovering more of what the outside world had to offer. One day, after watching the yachts come in and out of Newport, she purchased a book on how to become a stew. This led her to finding her first job as a yacht stewardess in Miami, Florida.

Justin Bieber is going to be a voice on the ‘Simpsons’ this Sunday (May 12th ) for an episode called ‘The Fabulous Faker Boy.’

The Biebs character tries to get into a talent show with Bart, but they won’t admit the Biebs’ character.

While folks are focused on the drama surrounding Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, it was announced that Randy Jackson – who has been with the show for 12 years is leaving. Here is his statement:

“Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on American Idol I have decided it is time to leave after this season,” he says. “I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It’s been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures.”

The rumor mill is also saying that Fox will fire all of the remaining judges after this season as well.

Heather Thomson and Carole Radziwill kept the sixth season of “The Real Housewives of New York” in desperate limbo last night after the other cast members had signed their contracts to return.

It was reported yesterday that Bravo threatened to cancel the show if all the ladies didn’t sign agreements by day’s end. The reality series was to start filming this week.

“Everyone has signed except for Carole and Heather,” a source told us at deadline last night. “Now it’s not even about money anymore, it’s just about if they want to do the show anymore.”

Ramona Singer, LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and Aviva Drescher all signed their contracts yesterday, but Radziwill and Thomson held out. So veteran cast member Singer, who will reportedly earn $500,000 from the next season, “called everyone to rally the girls to sign,” a source tell us.

But we hear that Thomson, who founded shapewear brand Yummie Tummie, and author/journalist Radziwill held firm and refused to sign — even though it meant the show could be axed.

Our source said, “Carole and Heather have their own careers outside the show” and told Bravo executive Andy Cohen they are on the fence. But “Heather won’t do the show without Carole, and Carole is reluctant,” the insider continued.

Thomson and Radziwill asked producers if they could have the weekend to mull it over. When Bravo wouldn’t give them the extra time, Thomson and Radziwill said they would continue to negotiate into the night.

Sources also said both women needed to re-up for the show to continue. “Producers would not have accepted one girl without the other. It is an ensemble cast. They told the girls if both Carole and Heather don’t sign together, the show won’t move forward,” one insider said.

Meanwhile, we hear Bravo has signed two new New York housewives, including Kristen Taekman, wife of Josh Taekman, a co-founder of energy drink Eboost. A Bravo rep had no comment.

It is the end of the road for Southland after five seasons, one on NBC and four on TNT. The critically praised cop show has been a source of pride for TNT brass who rescued the series after NBC dropped it before Season 2. “TNT has made the difficult decision not to renew Southland for another season,” the network said in a statement. “We are enormously proud of Southland, which stands as one of the best police dramas ever made.”

Southland most recently drew 1.8 million viewers for its fifth-season finale. With the end near, three of the show’s four main actors — Ben McKenzie, Regina King and Shawn Hatosy — booked pilots, with McKenzie playing the male lead in a drama produced by Southland studio and TNT sibling WBTV. There had been talk about doing a movie or four-hour mini wrapping the story but insiders say the chances are slim as the economics of that would be hard to pull off. Southland‘s fifth-season finale now serves as a fitting series finale with the poignant title “Reckoning”. It came from two of the series’ three executive producers, written by Jonathan Lisco and directed by Chris Chulack, who also helmed the pilot.

Kim Kardashian is wearing a little bikini on the cover of ‘US Weekly’ magazine.  It’s a skimpy purple bikini and she is leaving her baby bump totally exposed.  The headline says, “Kim Dares to Bare You Call this Fat?”

The photo was taken on her family vacation to Greece a couple of weeks ago.

Kim is 7-months pregnant and a lot of people have been guessing how many pregnancy pounds she has packed on.

‘Life & Style’ magazine is also reporting that Kim & Kanye are in a battle over where to raise the baby, Kanye wants to raise the child in Paris and Kim wants to stay in L.A.   There are also reports that Kim is worried she is going to end up being a single mom.

As we reported earlier today two suspects have been arrested in connection with Jodi Arias bomb threats, authorities have positively identified the suspects as  18-year-old Laquint H. Cherry, and the female suspect as his girlfriend, Christina Hogan. She was questioned and then released.

They were suspected of being behind a threat on Twitter about an explosive device in the Arias courtroom. No device was found anywhere near the courthouse.

The tweet read:

Maricopa County Sheriffs Office was made aware of the situation by TVFishbowl after we noticed the tweet.

At first, Cherry reportedly resisted efforts by MCSO to have him surrender peacefully.

He continued to tweet threatening messages about not being taken alive and also threatened to kill the officers surrounding him, MCSO said.

Cherry was eventually arrested without incident.

He was booked into Fourth Avenue Jail on a class 4 felony charge related to acts of terrorism.

Patrol and Enforcement Support Bureau Deputy Chief David Trombi commented:

“A bomb threat was recently directed at our new Sheriff’s Headquarters under construction downtown and an actual bomb was mailed to the Sheriff, but was intercepted. Therefore, our awareness for these kinds of threats is heightened and an increase in security was in place for today’s scheduled court case involving inmate Arias.”

Sheriff Joe Arpaio said, “We will arrest everyone connected with these kinds of reckless ambitions.” 

“The investigation into this threat is not over. Additionally, I am concerned that more dangerous individuals or groups have designs of causing loss of life with either sophisticated explosives or homemade bombs. Because of this, every threat to harm is taken seriously,” Arpaio concluded.

Cherry was detained for several hours beginning at 9 a.m. at the Value Place motel at 1360 N. 43rd Avenue in Phoenix. At first Cherry resisted efforts of the Sheriff’s Office to have him surrender peacefully. Instead, he continued to tweet threatening messages about not being taken alive and threated to kill the cops surrounding him. Eventually, Cherry was arrested without incident.

Sentencing in the Arias case was expected to resume at 1 p.m. Thursday, but was unexpectedly canceled . The penalty phase will resume Wednesday May 15, 2012 at 1o a.m. PST.

Two Arizona people were arrested for threatening to blow up the Maricopa County Courthouse where the Jodi Arias trial is being held.  If you are not on Twitter or do not follow TVFishbowl on Twitter you may have missed the discussion and public out rage when the tweets were discovered.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man and a woman around 11 a.m. at a hotel near 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road.   TVFishbowl made a phone call last night to the Maricopa County Sheriffs Office to report the threats.  A spokesperson for the MCSO told TVFishbowl “that police were taking the threats serious and were on the hunt for the suspects.” They further stated they have been “inundated with calls from concerned citizens across the globe.”

A young man by who goes by the Twitter handle GrimlinSkeleton posted two very disturbing tweets threatening to blow up the courthouse and claiming “tomorrow I’ll become a HERO and also shot by pigs once I unload.”  

In a subsequent tweet he wished for Juan Martinez and Travis Alexander to burn in hell. As if those tweets weren’t disturbing enough he went on a rampage against the government.  Grim also taunted viewers of his Twitter timeline to go look at his Facebook to see pictures and video of people he has kidnapped and tortured.  The Facebook URL identifies Grim as LaQuint Cherry and his Twitter profile indicates he lives in Phoenix.   The Facebook URL has since been removed from his Twitter profile. 

An MCSO spokesperson confirmed they are taking extra precautions at the courthouse Thursday due to the threat.  TVFishbowl will keep you updated as more information becomes available. 

The court just announced that there will be no court proceeding today, court will reconvene Wednesday May 15, 2013.
