Bad Breath Natural Help!

How do I control chronic bad breath without having to chew gum or take mints all day.  I  brush regularly 2 to 3 times a day. I was listening to your show on www.naturalnews.com last Thursday night and heard you mentioning this topic  as well as others.  From listening to the other callers you seem to give out  rather good advice.  My problem is debilitating and I am so anxious to speak with anybody for fear they will smell this horrible odor coming from ME.  Please help!!

I can agree that bad breath is a serious social issue but in most cases what causes it is NOT serious.  You must first rule out that you do not have any serious problem by having a physical with your PCP and a thorough dental exam by your dentist.  Here are some recommendations I give to my patients who do well if they follow it precisely. 
Because this is most likely not oral hygiene related, it may be coming from the stomach or nose.  Let me suggest something in the literature that can kill the bacteria and odor that causes halitosis.  Sovereign Silver 1 tsp full, every hour while awake for 7 days should tell the story.  You can even swish it around and gargle with it first before swallowing it down.  Do this for 20 seconds.   Also, use the same silver and put 2 dropperfuls through your nostrils, let it run down the back of your throat and swallow it 4 times a day.  Floss you teeth and brush 2 times a day.  Take natural mouthwash you can also find at a good health food store or my website www.drmitchshow.com by LEF called Pomegranate Mouthwash and the Digestive Enzymes with probiotics by LEF, take 2 with every meal which will help to digest the food in the stomach.   Make sure that you drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of PURE WATER!!! This acts as a natural flush.  Brush your tongue 3 times with a scraper and you will see all the gook that comes off of it that can cause very offensive odor. Try this protocol every day for two weeks and then ask somebody to check your breath. Always ask your doctor first about the information above if it could be applicable to you before implementing its use.
