I know this is a SHOCKER, but here it is: Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy have ‘officially’ separated. The reality show marital curse has struck again. Bethenny, 42, married Jason in 2010 and they have one daughter, Bryn.
She told the Associated Press that this brings her great sadness. “This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family. We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority. This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us.”
The couple appeared in Bethenny Getting Married and Bethenny Ever After. Bethenny has built her own empire after gaining fame on The Real Housewives Of New York, as the single girl about town. In 2005, she appeared in Martha Stewart’s The Apprentice.
Jason Hoppy was a pharmaceutical sales representative and involved in New York real estate when he met Bethenny at a club. His goal was to take the “stuck” out of her ass. Not sure what he does these days.
Bethenny is the author of 4 books, founded and sold Skinnygirl cocktails to Fortune Brands, Inc. for $8.1 million in 2011 and has a national talk show, Bethenny, set to launch in 2013 on Fox stations.
