Bethenny Frankel

Bethenny Frankel, former star of The Real Housewives of New York and current talk show host was in court on Friday, January 17. The court appearance was to file a motion to have estranged hubby Jason Hoppy evicted from their New York luxury apartment.

Bethenny asked the divorce judge to issue Jason an eviction order, according to court records.

As TVFB reported on Jan 10Mrs. Frankel is currently dating Michael Cerussi III.  A wealthy businessman, who was once accused of rape and is labeled a womanizing egomaniac by his friends–yikes!! Bethenny, you might want to hold off on telling Jason “gets-to-stepping” and ordering those monogram pillowcases.

Frankel and Hoppy are currently battling over their divorce and custody agreement. The couple married in 2010 and have a beautiful 3-year-old daughter named Bryn.

The once “hoppy” couple purchased and renovated their dream home after Bethenny sold Skinny Girl Liquors for a reported $100 million. The 3,400 sq ft Hudson Street apartment is worth an estimated $5 million and feature luxury amenities such as a gourmet kitchen, walk-in closet, man cave, cathedral ceilings, wall to wall windows and imported marble.

One of them needs to leave. Doesn’t have to be him though, since they both built it together. It can’t be good for Brynn to be living in a situation where her parents clearly don’t like each other, aren’t speaking, and/or argue all the time.

    • Babson_Chick

Yes!! It can’t be a happy household and I feel for Bryn who has to live with the household tension.

      • julyol1972

Kids know when their parents don’t like each other, they can feel the vibes. They need to remove her from that toxic environment, asap!

        • Babson_Chick

          I agree!!

  • Babson_Chick

Guess we have to stay tunned to see what the judge says. My son went through the same thing – both living in the same house until the judge ruled (he got the house). However, since her money bought the place this is different.

    • julyol1972

I’ve got to agree with you on that. Even though they bought it “together”, it was her money that actually purchased it.

      • Babson_Chick

I’d hate to think about paying for an apt. or condo in NY. She’ll have to give him some $$ I would think.

      • murlut

community property. She made money while they were married, he worked in the business for awhile

    • Dr Seuss

Sounds like War of The Roses. I can’t imagine it’s emotionally healthy healthy for couples going through an ugly divorce like Bethenny and Jason to live together. She seems extremely unbearable to be around on a good day. Poor Jason.

      • Babson_Chick

Nope, not a healthy environment! Poor Jason – what chance does he have in this fight. Have to admit he has been hanging in there. Bryn needs one stable parent at least.

        • Dr Seuss

Totally agree Babs. I really like Jason and you can see the pain in his eyes. I think Bethenny wanted a baby and used him. She’s just like her mother.

          • Babson_Chick

I believe Bethie is the type that when she gets what she wants – she doesn’t want it anymore. Nothing will make her happy IMO. We’ll see how long this new BF of hers will last. She’d better be careful when she brings a new guy around her daughter.

  • Dr Seuss

I feel they should sell the apartment and split the proceeds. I can see this getting very ugly (even more so) with Bethenny’s new boyfriend in the picture. I just wish Bethenny would have some dignity and not date until her divorce was final, especially for the sake of her daughter.

    • Birdie11

I’m amazed at how people going through wrenching divorces WANT to date…it’s insane to me.

      • Dr Seuss

Exactly Birdie. I’m with you here.

      • murlut

I agree. I was broken hearted and needed to heal before I jumped into the dating again. My ex ran right out and found a new one and they lasted about 2 years. I dated and was picky, my husband and I have been together 16 years.

        • Babson_Chick

I think it’s easier for the man and most of the time they already have someone lined up. I’m very picky at this point and keep myself busy and don’t worry about dating. Good for you – glad you found a good hub.

          • murlut

Be picky. I waited and found the amazing husband. He cooks, cleans, builds, mechanic and we laugh together.

            • Babson_Chick

              That’s awesome!!

    • murlut

She has no class. We have seen that play out since the separation. She just cant play well with others

  • Birdie11

It sounds to me like they have both been legally advised to stay. I certainly doubt that they want to be living in the same place. At least it’s making it difficult for Bethenny to bring her boyfriend around Bryn’s home life..which is a good thing at least.

    • That Lady

I find it comical that she says she settled when she married him! Thats a laugh! Seems like he’s the one that should have kept looking. Maybe dating this “totally respectable” guy will award Jason a more favorable share of the custody agreement. Either way the apartment should be sold and proceeds split.

      • Birdie11

Every comment she has made regarding their marriage has been so cruel..’settling’ for ‘not the love of my life’ Jason. She will have to explain those comments to her daughter one day. I agree they should sell the place, and split the profit.

  • 4theHighHeels_4theRawDeals

How selfish Barfenny is to be seeking sole custody. I hope Jason get sole. It would be better for Bryn, in my opiniom.

  • murlut

I hope she has to pay out the Azz to him. If the judge was smart, he would give him sole custody of the child, she is cookoo. She is such a shallow self absorbed individual with no compassion. Everything has to be her way or the highway. Hit the road Bethenny, we are all extremely tired of you.

  • momplus5

They have strong resolve I have to say. They both have disdain for each other and living together under the current circumstances must be horrible, uncomfortable and so on. Sad part is Bryn is stuck in the middle.
