Big Brother 15 houseguest Spencer Clawson has been investigated for child pornography. The investigation comes on the heels of Spencer comments to other house guests, you can listen to the comments by flashing back to August 5, cameras 1 and 2 at approximately 7:06PM.
“I like to beat off to child porn. Did I ever tell y’all about that?
“Oh God,” says Andy.
“I love it. Beating off to child porn is my favorite thing there is.”
“I love it when they’re around 3 or 4 years old. My favorite ones are when you can tell they’re in a basement.”
Twitter Big Brother fans were in an uproar after hearing the comments on the Big Brother live feeds. Many were calling for his immediate removal from the house, while others suggested witnesses of the conversation call his employer. It turns out that Spencer’s employer Union Pacific was responsible for getting the police involved. Today, Union Pacific issued the following statement:
Due to the volume of feedback Union Pacific has received from the public about Spencer Clawson’s August 5 comments on the CBS reality show Big Brother 15, the company wants to reiterate that it has taken all the action it can under the Collective Bargaining Agreement until Mr. Clawson is released from the show. Mr. Clawson took an unpaid leave of absence to participate on Big Brother 15. Union Pacific has notified law enforcement of Mr. Clawson’s August 5 comments. (source)
TVFishbowl contacted Chief AJ Gary from the Conway Police Department in Arkansas who had this to say, “The Conway Police Department was alerted to comments made. Due to the nature of the comments, our department moved quickly to look into the matter. At this time we haven’t found that any criminal act was committed.”
CBS certainly has a public relations nightmare on their hands with the cast of Big Brother 15. I have watched Big Brother since season one and never have I seen such a repulsive cast. For those of you calling for CBS to cancel the season, it’s not going to happen. Big Brother is CBS’ summer cash cow, they earn a ton of money from live feed subscriptions. It’s rumored that they earn enough to cover the cost of production, crew salaries, all the prizes and cash handed out during the show and the $500,000 first place and $50,000 second place prizes while still pocketing a nice chunk of change.
Have the racial, misogynist, homophobic and child endangering comments turned you off? Have you stopped watching the train wreck that has become Big Brother 15? Do you think Union Pacific did the right thing by reporting Spencer’s comments to the Conway Police Department? Let us know you thoughts in the comments below.
