Times are tough all over…especially for Brendan Fraser. The superstar says he’s broke and can’t make his annual $900,000 child support payment. The former star of the “Mummy” movies headed to a Connecticut court to try to have his payment reduced!
His ex-wife, Afton Smith, however claims fraud. She says that he is hiding over $9 million dollars and was doing so at the time the divorce was settled. Fraser then said that he had no movies on the horizon, but as it turned out, he subsequently made several. (Really? Because TVFishbowl can’t think of a single one.)
Frazer went on to then say it’s medical issues that are keeping him from paying. He told the court that this is the reason that he can’t make movies. (Silly us, we thought it was his acting keeping him from making movies.)
With three kids, Brendan Fraser is headed to court later this month to take the stand. He has repeatedly said that he has no comment (and no hair).
