This is literally Fresh Off The Press! Just minutes ago, TMZ and Metal Flowers Media announced they’re searching for a family in the U.S.A. to make famous! Can you believe that? It can be any combination: parents, kids, cousins, brother, sister, etc. Oddly, best friends are a yes, grandparents are a no.   :-?  The only requirement needed is that you have the ambition and talent to become famous.

TMZ will bring the chosen family to Hollywood to see if you can become famous; they’ll even help! It doesn’t matter if you want to be an actor, writer, spokes-model, newscaster, fashion designer, celebrity chef, comedian, DJ, or a model.

If you’re interested, please go to TMZ.com and click on the right hand side where it says “We’re looking for a TALENTED and AMBITIOUS FAMILY That Wants Fame!” Click on the “CLICK HERE” So far, so good? Now, fill out the application (which is very simple) and simply tell them why you should be famous. Just 1 submission per family.

If you submit an application for your family, please let us know in the comments and keep us up to date. We’d love for one of our families to win this!

PLEASE NOTE: TVFishbowl is not affiliated with TMZ, and as a result, we’re unable to answer any specific questions.

Stephon, that’s great! Please keep us up to date on your progress.

Tiffanie, I just checked & it’s there. Only thing above it are the headline pictures. It’s a big blue box with Harvey Levin’s face & is a video. Below it says they’re looking for families. If you still don’t see it, I’d try a different browser- that’s the only thing I can think of that may be giving you problems.

Looking forward to my family being granted this opportunity.
This is amazing what TMZ is doing.

    • http://www.jondavidcarroll.com Jonathan

Has anyone heard back from TMZ that submitted an application?

    • jane

Jonathan, I think it may be a bit early to hear back. So if you applied & haven’t heard back, please don’t be discouraged.

Britanie, Yeah!! We’ll keep a lookout for the Sommerfelt family! :)

D’Von, Sounds like you were very assertive & that may be exactly what they’re looking for. You’re showing them you’re a self-starter & hard worker! Will keep watch for the Snead family!

Tiffanie, Did you ever find the link on TMZ.com? If not, please let us know.

      • http://www.Facebook.com/LeviSerene D’Von Snead A.K.A Levi Serene

Thanks a lot Jane for the reply back. It’s good to see that TMZ and TVFishBowl is interactive with the contestants and its supports, it shows a lot and means bunch to us.

Like I stated before whether or not my family and I are accepted thanks for the opportunity for such a chance.

In the mean time tho, every one else reading this if you could check me out anyway it would be greatly appreciated. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTQk7lmL8MI is the link. Thank you all in advance

        Much Love

PS. Sorry for the advertising but chances come in/at weird times. Take the opportunity why you have it right lol.

    • jane

We just put up a new casting call for America’s Got Talent. You can submit your application online! It’s on our casting call page. :)

    • Amber

i submitted my family and myself, we will be famous if harvey picks us or not. if anyone wants to invest in a sure thing contact me, amberjanell5@gmail.com. also is anyone else with me that waiting to see who Harvey picks sucks. its like waiting for results from the doctor… just wait and if you dont hear back from the doctor then you have nothing and if you hear back from the doctor you got something. how long do we have to wait? and can we at least get a rejection notice?

      has anyone heard anything yet?

    • Amber

      ooopss.. i meant amberjanelle5@gmail.com

    • Robin Salkowski

I’m honestly wondering why some of you people crave being on TV for a shot at 15 minutes of forgettable “fame.”

      • Amber

Personally a forgetable 15 minutes is not what I’m after. Although, me being on TV successfully fullfilling my ambitions would be a one of a kind show, without the cameras I’ll be a house hold name. Never letting a beneficial opportunity go through my fingers on the road to success, especially when both parties can enjoy the spoils, seems unquestionable.

        • Robin Salkowski

Seriously, Amber, you need to see a psychologist. You’re all about easy “fame” and money, ahead of your family’s welfare. A “beneficial opportunity …on the road to success” is often found OFF a TV camera, you just have to work hard. But narcissism is the new norm, I guess.

          • Amber

Phycologist you are probably right, but who couldn’t benefit from seeing a professional… No1s perfect. Easy fame, money, not worried about my family’s welfare, hard work… You have defiantly prejudged me as a person and by paraphrasing or not reading my entire previous response, you are sadly mistaken. Not that I’m obligated to clear things up and correct you, I find it great practice for when I’m in the public eye and encountering people like you. So to clearify, first, my family will always be number one and there is nothing I would EVER persue that affected their welfare negatively (in fact my ambitions are driven by them and the life I know they deserve). Second, easy fame and not working hard is for your 15 minutes of fame, which I’m not after. With or without TV I will be a household name and my empire built during my life will survive many life times. Yes, money and this TV show would help me start to fulfill my ambitions and follow through with my business deal faster… Hardwork will be needed every step of the way! without the two from TMZ, I still have my talents that can not be bought and my plan to succeed. That being said it will take longer to reach fame, but I will always be working hard and you will hear from me in 5years… I would like to add that just because my talents will make me famous doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t be happy if I were into a different profession where I wouldn’t become famous… I can help what I’m good at

            • Robin Salkowski

So, exactly how will you be “a household name” and build your “empire” that “will survive many lifetimes?” This sounds delusional.

You DO realize that 99 percent of all folks on any reality show are quickly forgotten and do not become “household names.” Since there are hundreds of reality shows and no reality “household names” except perhaps Donald Trump who created a reality show, I think you will be tragically disappointed.

So, what’s your astounding talent? You keep talking about “when” you’ll be in the public eye and “when” you’re going to be a “household name,” so, what is it you do? I’m curious. YOU brought it up, and why not spill it? Why wait to become “a household name” because you very well may be rejected by all the reality shows you try out for — and nobody will ever know who you are and why you are destined to be one of the greatest living people of our generation.

              • Amber

Something has to be said for keeping you intrigued (on whatever level that maybe) and for me responding to you, ever think about being an interviewer? You ask great questions… Although, you might want to lighten up a bit. For the “when” and “why” as I do not wish unveil my whole submission here are my beans…

Modeling is easy and I’ve dont it before, I’m unique and beautiful, and having a second chance would not go to waste. Promos and TV correspondent I’ve done too, being young and immature I choice a different path… None the less doing it again I would be better then I was in the past. Acting is in my soul, putting it to test on people from time to time, maybe not always appreciated in daily life it’s a natural talent… Being able to pull from my past, embody any role, pulling off any look, believable, accompanied with drive spells success. As an ace up my sleeve, I’m a fashion designer at heart, I will take the market where it has not yet gone (explained in my business plan) and have already began my road to having my own company. So whether any of these professions come first, the others will be pursued. Along with fame and money I will promote humanity by giving back and show that no matter the decisions you’ve made in your past the lessons you’ve learned and what you do with do today makes you the person you are.

Along with my talents come many more that I consider hobbies, interesting and entertaining to most all, with a real personality. With me comes my family equally intriguing and ambitious.

Hate us, love us, or want to be us, making something out of the opportunity TMZ has offered will be us. Doing something with that “15 minutes” is the goal, not the “15 minutes” itself. We are completely ready to take on fame and be in the public eye, knowing the outcome of our lives will eventually get us there.

Going to investors and submitting to TMZ is only part of the work I’ve put in thus far. Passing up opportunities in the past for essentially an uncontainable outcome , at 16 years old I was not serious about modeling or TV I was working to go to the Olympics when my dreams were crushed and softball was no longer an Olympic sport, is the reason I would not let anything else slip through my fingers and working for these careers is sensible .

So yes overcoming the 99% is possible, because with all the no’s there will be a yes… From TMZ, Investors and/or the public. If investors do not lend money or TMZ doesn’t pick me for a show… Then five years it is. Asking my family to give up a year or their lives and money, we don’t exactly have, I would never fathom because their welfare is number one to me. I will spend the next 5 years making my ambitions a reality with blood, sweat, and tears… Outcome of each path to fame being the same… “…A Lifetime and many more lifetimes…”

I may not have gone into details, but I’m not here showing my submission… Believe in me or not the proof will be in the pudding. And I will be sending these interaction to TMZ just because copying me or piggy backing what I have said will not just be cheating yourself overall, but I won’t let it hinder chances.

                • Amber

Also, would you not agree that a reality show starring Donald Trump as he was just starting out and then reaching success with his ever growing empire would be one of a kind… Maybe I’m not Donald but the idea is the same.

                  • jane

Amber, Sometimes my son laughs at me because I’m smiling when I’m reading something on the computer. I must say, I was smiling while reading your comments. I truly hope you are one of the ones picked as a contestant. There are also other shows looking for similar talents… you mentioned you’re a fashion designer- is there anything else that you do, that you’d submit an application for? I’m talking about shows like Shark Tank, etc. And what genre of clothes do you design? Mens, womens, childrens? Let me know and I’ll keep an eye out for you.
By the way, with your self-confidence & determination, I think you are right- you WILL be something terrific in 5 years!

                    • Amber

Thank you Jane! I design men, women and children’s clothing. Yes I do have many other talents but none that are as developed as the ones I listed above and although pursuing the other talents would be met with success , anyone invested in them would be investing in faith that with time and money will come greatness. Thank you for mentioning shark tank, I’m going to give it a shot with my sketches and business plan… Plus add everything else mentioned in my previous comments! Glad to put a smile on your face and appreciative of your kind words!

                      • Robin Salkowski

Well, Amber, you certainly do sound fun, intriguing and talented. I mean it. You do also have a zest for life, too. But, I think I would say to you that if you can, continue to build your groundswell locally and then regionally. You may NOT become a “household name” but you may certainly enjoy a reasonable level of acknowledgment and the money that comes with it. I do understand about shooting for the stars, but only if you have a reasonable head and your feet firmly planted in the ground. So that if that lofty goal doesn’t work out, you can be happy you tried and be satisfied with how much you are acknowledged.

A huge downside to massive fame, Amber, is the inability to just travel, move around, go food shopping, etc. without being hounded. Your privacy and peace will fly out the window.

One final note is that when you sign a contract to appear on a reality show, they own the rights to portray you and edit you the way they want, and you cannot do anything about it. You can’t control the image that America will see. If you are chosen, make sure you always know that the cameras are taping and do not lose control or say or do anything that will live in infamy.

I have worked with a couple of reality TV production teams, and this is why I know and feel as I do.

                        Thanks for reading.

    • Stephanie Bauhan

I submitted! I’ve been dying for an opportunity like this and have actually been obsessing over it! When will we find out that a family has been chosen? The anticipation is killin me!

      • jane

Stephanie, So glad you submitted your application! Just by reading yours & all the other comments here, I sure hope at least 1 of you is picked! We’re not affiliated with TMZ so, unfortunately, I have no idea when you’ll hear back from them.
Best of luck to you, my dear!

    • Amber

AND OBVIOUSLY WRITING IS NOT MY TALENT NOR PROOF READING, I DO APOLOGIZE, I WILL HAVE TO HIRE SOMEONE TO DO THESE THINGS ;)

      • Robin Salkowski

Amber, really, you write fine. You should see some of the drivel on other sites.

        • Amber

Fine could be better :) I’m sure there’re worse but seeing it wouldn’t make me feel much better. I like your style of writing Robin… What is your profession now?

        • jane

Robin, The advice you gave (2 comments above…it won’t let me reply to that for some reason) was very sound & I completely agree with you. That is something to think about, Amber, if your idea is a concept- if you’re accepted as a contestant, you will sign over any/all creative rights, ie: they can do anything they want with it.

    • Amber

Robin: You caught me off guard, thank you and I understand completely. My freedom of speech will never be signed away, no matter what I will always stand up for myself, ambitions and family (no particular order)… It may come in the way of sorry, sarcasm, truth, or in the form of an explanation. My belief is that Harvey is not looking to destroy someone’s ambitious but magnify it positively, although, not having the opportunity to discuss details… I’m not going to get into a situation that would do more harm then good in reaching my goals. Reaching for the stars is what I’m doing and believe its possible because I can’t see an end insight no matter the angle I look at my plan from(my business plan is to start small and let things grow from there) throwing reality TV in the mix would not champagne that plan just depict how a seed of idea grew and grew. Not being able to see an end no matter how hard I try is the only way for me to begin, this honestly doesn’t happen to me often, I’m a thinker and problem solver. Yes, I’m aware of the “negative” that comes with the gains… i get watched where ever i go now, people say uncalled things to me, act weird, and are disrespectful. having it all depicted for everyone see wouldn’t bother me much… Sure I’m human and sometimes bothered, flattered or feel unsafe but I have my man who has the ability of making everything ok(he is my protector, mentally &physically) at the same time maybe seeing the truth of how being hounded feels will change people’s view of respecting others no matter the situation. Just the other day I was saying how I didn’t think it was a bad thing to think that no matter what someone is always watching and that I would teach this to my daughter, in bedding to think twice and know there is a reaction to every action. I enjoy your point of view Robin and happily surprised by what good you have said.

Jane: I’ve done some thinking about what you have said. I like to invent things too because improving life is important. When I find time I’m going to further develop my ideas… Ill let your know how it goes! And for the genre of clothing that I skipped over… Comfortable, timeless, unique, in style, and affordable. I can tell that you are generous and sweet but maybe a little quiet. When I see someone laughing and smiling I want to know why because I want to enjoy life more too, and it drives me crazy to see my man silent but full of emotion. Have you thought of silencing your sons laughter and opening up about what you see, obviously your kind heartedness and insight should not be an oversight by your son?

      • jane

When I’m smiling as I read things on the computer it’s because they make me happy. In your comment it was obvious that you believe in yourself, and as parents, that’s exactly what we want our children to do…regardless of age.
He doesn’t laugh like AT me, it’s more like he gets a kick out of it. And NO, I won’t tell him why I’m smiling…then he WOULD laugh at me. ;)

        • Amber

Yes leading by example is always a great way to teach children, mine being 10 months old I can not go a day without trying to make her laugh at me (a few times) :))

    • Amber

      Auto correct is horrible!

      • Robin Salkowski

Auto correct can be amazingly hysterical! No worries, remember. To answer your question, I did marketing and events. Fun! I’m trying to write a cozy mystery because … why not? I have the time now.

Glad you are eager and positive, two very good characteristics. Now, I am not a “holy roller” but I love Joel Osteen, who speaks more of positive basic psychology and behavior: his sermon today was great. When you feel the chips are down on your quest to succeed, change the channel to your “victory channel.” It’s not about ego, but about self nourishment, the glass being half full.

Oh, and don’t be afraid to use cyberspace to let us all in on how we can be your potential fans straight from the start. Why not? Life is the right now, know what I mean? Listen, girl, you won me over. And that’s a fact. :)

        • Amber

Hey that sounds great Robin, I’m always down for mystery, let us know when we can read your masterpiece and could not be more excited to see you write just by your comments (there is no reason not to, unless you do not want to)! A victory channel is what we should all be on, putting our best foot forward. I will defiantly keep everyone posted and hope everyone else does the same. I was thinking about posting YouTube videos to document my journey, the trials and tribulations along the way. Advice is always appreciated.

Robin, you have won me over as well

    • justin

How do you sign up i cant figure it out ?

      • Amber

Above there is a comment responding to the same question.
        TMZ.com
        right hand side

        Click
        Submitt

If you have a Mac you may need to click the little “flash” box which is on the top left corner of a big blank space on the right hand side of the TMZ website. I had to click quite a few times.

    • jane

I’ve got to say, it is SO nice to see potential contestants helping each other. I’m truly impressed that rather than being threatened by each other, you’re all taking the higher road & helping one another. It’s really touching.

      • Amber

Jane there is two ways of looking at helping people and why being threatened shouldn’t be an issue.

FIRST, do you laugh at someone who can not figure out how to submit but is submitting for a reality show as an ambitious and talented person/family? This person is not to be threatened but thanked for making my submission stand out.

SECOND, if I end up helping someone out and they are picked for the opportunity… HOLLA! Can I get a shout out?

    • jane

HOLLA!! You got it, girl! ;)

    • http://tmz.com Stephon White

The davis family will give you everything we have! We are motivated, humble, big hearted, and all of the above! I promised to work hard everyday, and be a leader and a role model to people that will look up to me and we want this bad, its like fighting for a spot for the superbowl

    • Mr E

So, did the Heenes submit yet?

    • Margie Duger

Is it to late to submit for the family casting call? We were told we def had to, but were not able to follow up until now. Very crazy family with an extremely talented daughter! Please let me know if it s to late. I went to the TMZ site, but can’t find an application. Thank you!!

      • Amber

Didn’t see the app up on the site either, you can try to get ahold of TMZ other ways using the Internet. I’m sure if its too “late” an entry would still be considered especially a good one!

    • Mr E

It’s hard to top the Heenes, that guy Richard was (is) absolutely hysterical. Seriously, if you want to laugh really loud go on youtube and see his homemade invention videos and his kids’ band.

Im not ashamed to say I would probably watch them if htey had a reality show. I love to laugh my ass off before I say goodnight.

    • jane

Unfortunately, we at TVFishbowl have no information on who has or hasn’t applied, as we’re not affiliated with TMZ.
We don’t know when you should hear anything; I suggest directing your questions to TMZ.com.
Wish I could be of more help
      Jane

      • Amber

I’m not with TMZ, Tvfishbowl, or anyone else but myself… I like them all tho!!!

        • jane

Amber, you’ve been encouraging to others, imo, just because you’re a kind-hearted person. Thank you for helping to answer questions that only applicants could.
          Jane

          • Mr E

Reading Ambers’ posts I do agree she’s an awesome lady even if the project doesn’t come through for her. She already inspired many people and maybe no matter what she doesn’t need this particular oportunity! She will shine anyway!

            • Amber

Thank you both, everyone could use this awesome opportunity and if you’re truely ambitious “no” won’t stop you, and what goes around comes around!

    • cheryl

The Lee Family submitted the application. We were contacted by casting director. Submitted family photo’s and then we had to give personal information and forms were submitted. We are waiting to hear back:-)
Lee family will be going to Hollywood!!! We have what it takes:-) Jersey in the house..

      • Amber

        Awesome! Good luck, so rad!

    • jane

Wow Cheryl! I am so excited for you! I hope you keep notes or a lil diary about your experience going to Hollywood & everything. Good luck to your family! <3

To everyone that may not hear back, please don't give up & keep reading our casting calls. We put up at least a few every week. Keep trying & you'll eventually get on a show. :)

      Jane

    • Honnie Badger

Go, Lee Family, Go Lee Family! Congrats! To all other hopefuls, why wait for “The Call?” If you haven’t, start a youtube channel — be your OWN producers. And, check out your municipal public access channel, you may be able to use some of its air time, especially if there may be a charitable or community element.
