UPDATE!

As we near the finales of  ‘Survivor: Philippines’ (December 16) and ‘Amazing Race‘ (December 9), CBS has announced the 2013 premiere dates of the next seasons of both popular shows.

 

 

 

Survivor 26  will premiere on Wednesday, February 13,  at 8 pm E/P

The Amazing Race will premiere on Sunday, February 17,  at 8 pm E/P

 

The 26th Edition of Survivor which was filmed  in the Philippines back-to-back with Survivor: Philippines earlier this year, has not had its official name released yet by CBS.  Speculation abounds in numerous fan sites online, but one common item is that it will be a sequel to the ‘Fans vs Favorites’ format.  Host Jeff Probst has mentioned he likes having returnees, so it’s not out of the realm of possibilities that we’ll have half the cast with familiar..and hated, even..faces. If the list of cast members I’ve seen comes true during the Survivor: Philippines finale sneak peek of next season…there is going to be a LOT of grumbling and surprises.

The Amazing Race 22 is in the midst of filming now, and already the locations they’ve been spotted at look great.

(Jan 11, 2013)  CBS has announced the cast of the 26th Edition of Survivor.

The new season is named  Survivor: Caramoan ,and officially a ‘Fan/Favorite’ format.  For cast bios, click here.

The Amazing Race 22 has finished filming, and with the leaked pictures of teams and locations, this new season will prove to be another exciting one.
