Super-producer Mark Burnett’s new CBS show The Job has been canceled by the network after only two episodes have aired. The show has struggled with ratings beginning with the premier which garnered only 4.1 million viewers. A CBS spokesperson states Undercover Boss will immediately replace The Job in the Friday night time slot.
Mark Burnett’s company also produces The Voice, Shark Tank, and the hit CBS reality show Survivor. The Job offered contestants the chance to win a coveted job with one of America’s best known companies.
No word from CBS on if or when the remaining six episodes will air.
Sure hope Lisa Ling finds another job soon!
