Me, too. I remember the good old days with the VJs and videos and interviews of musicians. By purposefully trying to be so “hardcore and edgy,” MTV has scraped the bottom of the barrel, making dreck into “stars” and fueling delusional dreams of “celebrity” among teens who need drastic and intense psychotherapy.

It’s good for him; this show has become a sad husk of its initial self. It is nothing more than a super-hyped karaoke contest with manufactured drama all the way through. It’s quite predictable.

That said, I love the idea of talent contests that give kids a chance. If the contests were more challenging somehow, perhaps focusing on the development of a singer’s signature style, and judged by real talent, other than simply tabloid headline-grabbers, maybe it would work in the long run.

Quite frankly, there are “fans” out there who rabidly inhabit Twitter and certain HW blogs that exist to excoriate these women and fan the flames of hate with their devoted followers (SH, and others). The one case, Sheree against TT, is way over the top and says more about the lack of character and desperateion of Sheree than it does the blogger, IMO.

Although I think that many HW-devoted blogs are benign and fun, others are designed to “hate.” And those that do seem to attract angry, lonely women who also constantly stalk the HWs and other bloggers on Twitter. Unreal. Get an f-ing life. I’ve been working with a sociologist on this type of behavior for research the past year, it’s simultaneously amazing and pathetic.

I’m excited about a couple of these! Family Guide looks especially promising but possibly because I am a huge Justin Bateman fan. I even liked him in the 80′s. lol

I feel that the verdict was truly spot on. I feel that prosecutor Martinez did a clear and steady job of laying out premeditation, and proving that what she claimed was either impossible, nonsensical and false.

I also think that Nurmi’s closing statement, which, out of the blue, focused on “heat of passion” instead of “self defense” which the defense team spent a lot of time on during testimony was viewed as weak. Plus, I would believe that the jury, in deliberations, may have been resentful and angry at him for changing the defense in closing statements like that. Just my opinion!

Who doesn’t love peaches…how could you not?! Plus most days life is pretty peachy regardless the trials and tribulations. If you can feel the sunshine on your face, have a roof over your head, food to eat, do right by yourself and others, and know you live with integrity and honesty…it is a pretty good day. Since your story is biased as you self proclaim…I don’t know if we will ever see the flip side of what the beauty queen has reeked on others.?! Will the finger always point in the direction of others? When is a victim a victim. Maybe I am thinking this is suppose to be a non-fiction story but in reality is it fiction?? Since it is biased, maybe so.

The past is only the past if it stays in the past. You need to write many more chapters to catch up with her history. There are more mug shots then just the one in your story. There are quite a few landlords that had to evict the Jersey girl that would differ with your glorious reviews of her. Then move on to the landscaping companies. Her arrest and bad behavior have continued up until currently. Ask her about her most recent eviction that just occurred and how she lived in this home for as long as she did and how much she owes. Do you consider this behavior good behavior or bad behavior? It most certainly isn’t in the past. Just ask her most recent landlord that had to evict her. You can find a lot out about the fallen beauty queen if you want to discover it. I think the person who filed a complaint about buying formal dresses from her and never receiving them might have a thing or two to say on this matter. If you are going to tell a story, tell the whole story.
