Did Kenya Moore Lie To Get A Coveted Spot On The Real Housewives of Atlanta? That’s the question I’m asking myself after receiving a tip today via our TVFishbowl.com scoop line.
A source who is part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta claims that former Ms. USA, Kenya Moore was less than honest during her interviews to become a cast member on the current season. The source states:
“Kenya did not meet any of the official criteria of a “Housewife,” relationship, family, nor the high-profile Hollywood career she claims to have, she hasn’t been anything more than a former beauty queen! She begged to be on the show because she was in desperate need of paycheck.”
“Everything you’re hearing from Kenya is not true! In fact she and Walter were never that serious, she was simply Walter’s booty call, he had no idea what he was getting himself into and you’ll see that on the next episode.”
When Kenya was told her lack of relationship was an issue, she assured producers and Andy Cohen, that she did in fact have a beau and that she had moved to Atlanta to begin planning their wedding. Now this is where things become interesting, apparently Kenya had approached an on again off again former beau from years back. According to the source “Jamal Anderson didn’t want any part of the mess of being Kenya’s on-screen beau.” Jamal is a former running back in the NFL, drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 1994.
Enter Walter Jackson the perfect patsy for Kenya’s grasp at fame and fortune.
“He is an average guy, who is pretty well-known around Atlanta. He’s even dated a couple of my friends, trust me, Walter is no actor! The facial expressions you see from Walter are indeed true, he had no idea Kenya was trying to be the next “Housewife” to have an on-screen wedding.” The source stated
Now For A Little Taste of Tea
While in Anguilla one of the husbands told Walter on camera if he didn’t propose to Kenya during the trip their fauxmance was done. That’s when Walter turned and addressed the camera directly and said something similar to “I might as well pack up.” Word from the source is that Kenya was so pissed off her little scam was unraveling that she turned to the cameras and accused Walter of being gay, saying something like “if he doesn’t want me, he must be gay.” Why is that a woman thinks it’s ok to call a guy gay simply because he’s not that into her?
I originally wasn’t going to report on this, until doing some research I saw that earlier today Walter made a shocking revelation during a radio interview (click to listen), claiming he dated Kenya three years ago and that they were not in a relationship while on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” “We dated about 3 years, almost three years ago for 3 months, about 3 months.”
Walter told Atlanta’s V-103 “We kind of stopped talking. For another year and a half I didn’t see her. All of a sudden, in April (2012) I get a text (saying) I want to talk to you.”
According to Jackson, Moore sat down with him and asked him to appear as her boyfriend on the show.
“I’m going to be doing this show. What do you think about doing reality TV ? She said well, what if you played my boyfriend on the show ? I said whoa,” said Jackson. “She told me it’s like acting.”
Agreeing to do the show, Walter Jackson was dumbfounded when Kenya began to talk about getting engaged, married and more.
“This is not what I signed on for,” Jackson told V-103 hosts Frank Ski and Wanda, later admitting that he had a “messy divorce” a few years ago.
All of that said, Kenya Moore has not responded to his claims as of yet. Sounds like everything is starting to unravel for Ms. USA, she better hang on that sash and crown, sounds like that’s all she’s going to be leaving the show with!

If Bravo doesn’t do background chedks on these girls then it’s their own stupid fault. You would have thinked they would have learned by now to vet these women properly.
