This is a story of Faux Fame and the Greek Tragedy of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. If you’re not on Twitter and don’t follow the blogs you might be a little lost, but we hope by the end you’ll have a better understanding of what’s been happening on the interwebs during the filming of season five.
It all starts with a poor little Greek Couple from New Jersey desperate for their fifteen minutes of Reality TV fame. In mid to late December, Johnny Karagiorgis made contact with our writer Shan A. to give her some inside scoop on what was happening during filming of season five. During the initial several hours-long conversation, Johnny relayed detailed information (some she could print and some she could not). Low and behold the very next day, December 31, 2012, FameWhorgas runs the exact story with word-for-word quotes that Johnny had “exclusively” given Shan A. In that article were the details Johnny asked Shan A. not to print and FameWhorgas claimed without hesitation that Johnny’s wife, Penny Drossos Karagiorgis, was the new housewife for season five. That article has since been changed to reflect more lies. Hmm, coincidence that two different people from the NJ franchise were leaking the same information word for word? I think not! When asked which other bloggers he had been speaking with, Johnny denied he was speaking to other bloggers.
Shortly after the conversation with Shan A., Johnny reached out to me and filled my ears with the same detailed information. During our initial conversation, Johnny seemed like a nice enough guy. In fact, I put him in touch with a business associate to discuss handling Penny’s social media presence. When representation contracts were ready to be signed and paid for, things started to go sideways and stories started to change. No longer was Penny signed as an official housewife, but they were signing contracts Tuesday January 8, 2013, to begin filming Wednesday. I mentioned in my article that Penny was meeting with production, but didn’t state a reason. Shortly after the article was posted, I received this text message from Johnny.
When Tuesday came and left there were no contracts signed, but there was another deal in the works. Johnny was now negotiating with a producer who had agreed Penny should have her own show, does it get any more delusional? This is when I reached out to Bravo and had my Candid Talk With A Bravo TV Exec. Now I had a decision to make, so I made a conscious decision as one of the owners of TVFishbowl to remove all articles about Penny from the site. I didn’t want to give them any airtime or promote less than honest people here at TVFishbowl.com.
Shortly after severing any relationship with Johnny, he and his band of miscreants started attacking TVFishbowl and me on Twitter. In a failed attempt at damage control, Johnny’s pal and confidant @GregsLooseHole @FauxRealityEnt A.K.A. Erica “Erykah” Bertschi-Dapolito began her assault. When I was a young kid growing up on Gerard Drive in New Jersey, I often fantasized about being famous and hanging out with TV celebrities. But as happens when one grows up and matures those flights of fancy are left behind with all other childhood fantasies. Erica is famous on Twitter for her vile attacks and posting of people’s personal information (yes folks she tweeted all of my personal info and later deleted). See, that’s her M.O. folks. She likes to hit and run. Sad part is she fancies herself some type of investigator. She’s mistakenly posted innocent strangers names, addresses and phone numbers thinking it was the identity of one of her Twitter foes.
Today, I spoke to Bravo and learned Penny has signed one thing and one thing only, an appearance agreement! She’s never even been a person of interest! Contrary to claims made by Johnny, he hasn’t signed a thing according to the Bravo Exec I spoke with.
Furthermore, although Johnny has proclaimed Penny has been invited to several of Teresa’s events, many sources have contradicted that story and confirmed that Teresa Giudice has never personally invited Penny to any event. Sources have also shared that viewers will see this played out on camera in season 5 of RHONJ.

Fast Forward To The Past Week:

Now that you are caught up on past events, let me jump to present day. Chris Stark, a researcher on Twitter, as her usual manner has been tweeting her latest findings on RHONJ. Stark began to tweet her current knowledge about Brian “Bryan” “Bulldog” and unmasked the perception of Brian being a victim or having the limelight thrown on him without his desire. Stark exposed the truth. As soon as Stark tweeted her knowledge, Erica began a vicious smear campaign against Stark. Johnny and Erica attempted to bully and harass Stark to delete tweets. Erica even went as far as to post an entire blog about Stark to discredit and cast her as a liar.
These players have played this game on Twitter with numerous people they feel opposed their devious acts or revealed their true colors. Let’s talk true colors for a moment. Johnny denies any knowledge of soliciting Chris Stark to help Brian negotiate a deal for recent stories that appear on Radar On-Line and in Life & Style. Brian denies he sold the stories to the tabloids. Well these screen-caps seem to contradict each other, no deal to broker, hiring legal representation? Sounds like someone sold something to a tabloid!
We would also like to add that when Johnny began trying to get press and exposure for Penny, he was in no way concerned with Bryan or how Bryan was perceived. In fact, he described Brian to both Ed and I, as a “cokehead” that ruined his MMA career with his drug habit.
TVFishBowl has come upon proof to reveal the true colors of the players involved. Johnny, Erica and Bryan all deny that it was Bryan on the phone call that allegedly took place during filming, once again this text appears to prove otherwise:
Johnny also claims that Teresa Giudice invites Penny to her events, well we have several sources close to Teresa and others close to production who have states that “Teresa has never personally extended an invitation to Penny to any event.”

I have seen Ed on twitter with a tv fishbowl logo do nothing but call Chris a liar and try to discredit her when Radar R Wrong even paid her for a story. Half of their web sites is lies and you’re trying to ruin someone’s reputation, doesn’t feel good does it? As far as my feelings about Johnny and Penny, lol, you should of known better! They have been saying for sometime now that they were going to be on the show, never happens.

This is or was all confusing to me ! I have seen bits and pieces of conversations on Twitter the last few weeks from people I follow but now I am beginning to understand. I read the other blogs but now it is all making sense. Thanks for posting the story

Ed, I really enjoy your site because you and your writers cover all aspects of modern TV culture and I would love to see the day when your posts have a multitude of comments and loyal commenters. Your writers and subject matters are simply terrific!
I am on Twitter purely for business and it has been a great tool in fortifying what I do. There are no celebs or entertainment on it, just “boring” companies!
But it appears to me that all these “Twitter wars” between fans, web-journos (bloggers) and the TV show players create a muddled mix inflamed and intoxicated by impassioned loyalties. And, sadly, from my view, it has turned bloggers against each other. I think that most if not all of you (FW, FRE, SH, TT, AllAbout….,etc.) have several key factors in common: courage to create and sustain a public blog, passion and commitment in doing so, and a deep, rich, abiding curiosity about and enjoyment of the subject matter. Plus, I don’t think anyone of you are getting “rich” off your creations, although hopefully there is some income to be made.
Some bloggers it appears have been hurt and threatened. and I am so sorry it has come to that. I don’t want that for any of you. I do pray for “peace in the bloggo-kingdom!”
You are always level headed and well spoken Honnie B. I have noticed the constant bickering among the bloggers and posters as of late regarding the HWs franchise and it has become a complete mess! Very disappointing for fans who are not emotionally invested in the shows and simply visit the sites for entertainment during leisure time. Unfortunately it seems that everybody wants to be on top and are doing and saying cruel things, constantly fighting to get there! Everybody wants the last word! I say this, stay in your own lane and co-exist as adults should. It doesn’t have to be dog eat dog. There’s room for everybody on this WWW.

HI, Gessie! Hope you and your beautiful dog are well. I will try my best to answer you because I appreciate your question and feel you are a fellow blog-community buddy of mine.
I don’t really feel alliances or extreme disgust with any HWs, shows, reality star folks or bloggers. I kind of did for awhile, but lately, my life has changed drastically and the result is I am grateful for everything. Admittedly, a few HWs do get my goat and out comes snark! So, I just took a huge step back and just simply appreciate blogs and bloggers who entertain me with their own way of creative expression. Listen, Gessie, I would never have the balls to do this! Seriously! Putting yourself out there … well, to me, it’s quite courageous.
Also, when I use my Twitter it’s only for business and I”m not on it that much. I do NOT FOLLOW any of this Twitterama, so I’m not in the know to form any educated opinion about what transpires on that particular social platform.
Finally, I just now enjoy reading and commenting because it’s a nice way to feel connected when I need a momentary mental respite from a project that poses a bit of a challenge.

Oddly, when I decided to create a blog-poster name, I feminized the name of the funniest freaking video I ever saw in my life, you know, the guy who narrated about the Honey Badger (I love him) not knowing that someone else did the same thing! Grace, Thank you, that may be true, however Penny and Erika are related! I didn’t know if my comment would be posted because when I sent it through it wasn’t posting, I then passed on the information to someone else because I saw the person communicates with the people here. I am going to DM the person again and see if she passed on the information, I didn’t know if my comment would go through because I am using a VPN to protect myself. I deleted my messages accidentally with all the links hoping that person would pass them on. They are related.
this is my feelings on it all. I have friends who are following this train wreck, we all have different opinions. but l can’t help to notice Erica got mighty defensive when Ed did his post about talking to Bravo.
My roommate doesn’t think it is right that this post was done, but I say go for it. I do believe that there has to be some kind of connection between Erica and John & Penny. There had to be. Why would a nobody come out like that and support them the way she is? Penny has never been shown on T.V. and Johnny was for a split second. Erica blogged that Penny wouldn’t give the juice to Kim D when it was announced that Kim D would be a friend of the housewives. How would Erica know this? So it happened that Johnny tweeted it after Erica blogged it. I would say just from looking at Erica’a picture, she is related to Johnny.
I’m also glad post was done because I’m sick of the same people slandering others that disagree with them. If you’ve watched these players over time you know they attack many maliciously crossing lines of acceptable behavior.

The one thing I’ve read which seems to be true is that JTG wanted to get his wife on NJ. He stirred up a whole pile of crap and has been talking to any blogger that will listen to him. This has been going on for years.First he hated Danielle and suggested to his “friend” Teresa that they get Danielle off the show and get Penny on. The problem here is that Teresa and Johnny aren’t “friends” but he tried to get us to believe they were. Next! Melissa gets on the show and Johnny is pissed. Johnny then starts a campaign of hating on Melissa. Why? Did she do Penny wrong? That’s what he wants us to believe. I’m still not really sure nor do I care anymore. I’m just sure of five things at this point. 1) Johnny has a really big mouth. 2) Johnny’s a liar. 3) Penny is not a cast member of NJ. 4) You can stick a fork in me cause I’m DONE. 5) The bloggers I’ve mentioned here all guilty of behaving like children

For those of u who know me, know j just lost my house to a fire and have been through Hell, I have not been reading blogs that much but I feel the need to say something. As I said in my twitlonger, johnny has never been rude to me, however, like most of you I do find my self scratching my head asking myself why the Hell is he going go blogs? If he or penny signed a contract , is bravo telling you to promote your appearance?
I have interacted with Faux and never had any arguments. The might when Dina announced her split , a few of us were taking bets to see which Blogger would call it their “exclusive”, considering Dina tweeted it. I think I may of confused Ed and I told him, of course by all means blog about it, I’m sure you have readers that are on Facebook that aren’t on twitter, I explained to him about “exclusives” and said your talk with a bravo executive was an exclusive” not thinking or putting two & two together.
Next day, I get this comment on my blog saying “why talk to that shit bowl” so ibwent to ask Faux if it was her, then I see I am blocked.
What I don’t think ppl understand is, yes, I didn’t like Teresa up until.this season, before faux and all the other players came along ppl like myself were here. I learned along time ago to not pick & choose my friends by who likes who on bravo. I have friends who like Melissa & we agree to disagree.
I have been friends with Shan for over a year now, she has been nothing but good to me, just strted talking to Ed, he followed me back and has been nothing but nice to me. Shan always makes sure to ask how I am, if she notices something bothers me or I’m upset, she will always ask if I’m okay.

Then u notice Faux did say to Ed after the post was done, something about being two faced. Ed never said who the post was about. Then he said I am glad Google records phone calls, it is in the Google discaimrr that incoming calls are recorded, not outgoing. If I remember correctly, when you call a Google number it does tell you. If it doesn’t, then it should be Google that ppl take it up with. I know At&t also keeps a record of incoming calls for a certain amount of time as well. But it was strange how Faux got offended. I have to be honest Faux, why were you so upset about the post when it didn’t say no names? You don’t know John or Penny do you?

I believe that is what git me blocked from Penny b/c last season I tweeted her saying (bc SH suspected the email was from you guys) the email was about Tree & Melissa ( email mentioned allot like how LR copies Brandi) and SH mentioned how it was from Penny, tweeted penny it was pathetic, then season 4 aired and I Twit bad for saying it bc me personally saw through Melissa. My point is, please for your own sake Johnny, stop going to blogs, please, if you want her to be on the show, Bravo will pick who they want regardless. I don’t doubt that you guys got a raw deal, I don’t doubt that.
Faux, I got hell for following you. But , as always, I base my opinion on my experience with people, not others opinions. It’s okay tho. It is what it is, but to get upset over a comment that wasn’t directed at ppl who u, Faux, dont know personally, just seems silly to me. Especially since I wasn’t even referring to them when I made the comment.
Okay, back to real life for me. Unfortunately.
I have a cracked screen and auto correct that hates me.
Just finished reading fauxrealityent blog. She is claiming that Chris first contacted johnny when clearly by the texts, you can see it was johnny who contacted Chris. Faux claims that Chris contacted johnny and asked him to intervene to get faux’s blog removed. It is clear by the texts sent by johnny that it was him who asked that Chris’s tweets be deleted. Chris said she would if johnny would get faux to remove her blog. Anyone with any reading comprehension skills can see that is was johnny who first reached out to Chris to delete her tweets.
Faux removed any reference to the phone call made by Brian. johnny’s text clearly shows the claim made by johnny, it was Brian, with an i, on the phone to penny. I have long suspected johnny and penny to be famewhores seeking their 15 mins. Desperation is not pretty.
I’ve tried three times to post a comment on faux’s blog, she refused to publish it. Why bother reading a blog that refuses to accept opposing views. I post on the bravo boards, we have discussed what has gone on twitter between all parties and for the most part, we all agree faux has no credibility or integrity.
I’m glad I found your blog Ed and enjoy reading it.
