Thanks for checking out the first TV Fishbowl Flashback Friday! I’ll be choosing a song from yesteryear every Friday to help you get through the rest of your work day and ready for your weekend festivities. (I was going to choose Working for the Weekend by Loverboy as this week’s Flashback Friday song to kick things off, but decided that was just way too cheesy!) The goal is to choose songs from many different genres and eras, with all of them having the commonality of putting some pep in your step to help you tough it out as you watch the clock tick by, minute-by-minute until quitting time!
The song I chose to kick-off the first Flashback Friday, is 1994′s “Here Comes the Hotstepper” by Ini Kamoze. This song has a fun dance beat that still makes me want to turn up the volume, put my dancing shoes on, and shake my groove thang every time I hear it.
In the next few weeks, I think we’ll dust off some seasonal ditties to help prepare you for all the up-coming holiday parties that are filling up your December weekends. (FYI: spiked egg-nog also helps get you in the mood.)
