According to Kenya Moore’s Instagram, the star of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, underwent a surgical procedure called a myomectomy, on Friday. She underwent the surgery to remove fibroids recently discovered during a routine examination. The surgery is less invasive compared to a hysterectomy. From her hospital bed this morning, the starlet Instagram, the surgery was a success along with an ambiguous inquiring-minds-want-to-know hashtag #closertomydreams.
A myomectomy is usually performed to remove only a few small to medium-sized fibroids, while leaving the uterus intact preserving for fertility. Uterine fibroids are the cause of many uterine related conditions from cancer to infertility.
Sources claim, Kenya elected to have the surgery to increase her chances of becoming pregnant in the near future. At 42, Ms. Moore’s cuckoo clock is ticking fast! Wouldn’t getting preggers entail finding a man first? Knowing Kenya like we do, she’s probably placed herself on the immaculate conception waiting list.
Kenya’s co-star, Cynthia Bailey also suffered from uterine fibroids and underwent the same procedure. Cynthia revealed her struggles with the condition during an episode which aired this season. I’m happy to report, Cynthia has recovered and doing much better.
Kenya Moore fans rejoice! You’ll soon have the pleasure of obsessing over a mini Kenya or a mini Ken…yikes! I wonder if Rent-A-Walter offers sperm donorship on his list of services?
We may possibly have another RHOA pregnancy on the horizon? Thank you baby Jesus!
Do you think Kenya is doing this for a story line next season?
