Kim
Kim has pizza with her daughters and talk about how much they love living back in there old townhouse. Then, it gets awkward. They talk about how Brielle wasn’t planned and how birth control will prevent unwanted pregnancies. Although true, aren’t they a little young to be discussing it at the pizza joint on television?
The next time we see Kim, she’s with Sweetie unpacking. Sweetie, as usual, doesn’t seem to be doing anything, but complaining. Somehow she stepped in dog poop IN the house. What is Sweetie’s purpose? No, seriously, tell me. She seems like a paid friend for Kim.
Phaedra
Phaedra and Apollo meet Kenya and Walter at the local go karting place, sitting at the world’s smallest table. Kenya is complimenting and flirting with Apollo. Completely inappropriate. Isn’t her man sitting right there?
Where is Kenya going? Phaedra and Apollo have on jeans, Walter has on shorts, and Kenya has on a cocktail dress. She’s trying awfully hard, isn’t she?
They discuss the upcoming Donkey Booty DVD venture before heading over to race cars. Phaedra looks irritated at Kenya’s constant attention seeking comments. “The seat belt won’t fit over my breasts!”
Phaedra leisurely drives down the track, while Walter tries to push his slow car forward. Apollo and Kenya are the only two to race to the finish line, before Kenya runs out of gas, then pouts like a two-year old.
Cynthia
Peter opens a $200 bottle of red wine that they’ve had for over four years because Peter was waiting for a special moment that never came. Really, Peter? Not the wedding, the anniversary party, the opening of the club or the opening of Cynthia’s agency? None of those were special enough, so you would like to open the bottle of “red” wine on a random evening? The cork the bottle to find out that it’s spoiled.
Nene and Gregg arrive to chat about a trip to Anguilla for the girls. This trip will be a couple’s trip – all the girls plus their mates are invited. Nene isn’t ready to be on a trip with Kim.
Peter wants to renew their vows in Anguilla. Nene says that Cynthia doesn’t like surprises, so she doesn’t know how she’ll take it. But that doesn’t seem like she’ll ruin the surprise.
Porsha
Porsha and Kordell arrive at the doctor’s office to find out whether they can have children after removing a uterine fibroid. Porsha wants two sets of twins – 2 boys and 2 girls, but not in 5 different pregnancies. She wants to clarify that it’s FOUR, while holding up THREE fingers. The couple talks about how strong their genes are and twins are in the family. Not sure where this conversation gets them. She read online that you can eat yams to have twins. Some old wives tales are true, right? Well, according to the doctor, in one more month, they can start trying for a child.
Cynthia and Nene meet Porsha for the first time at the “House of Williams” home. It’s empty. She had to grab three chairs from somewhere for them to sit in an almost empty room to chat. Apparently Nene and Hosea are old friends – acting and the foundation. It’s becoming apparent that Porsha has a problem with numbers – now, she’s saying that they feed the hungry 265 days a year. I know people make mistakes, but she doesn’t seem to catch herself – at all. Porsha asks the girls to do a PSA on behalf of the foundation, to which they both agreed.
The conversation turns to Kenya and her antics. I have a feeling we’ll be hearing a lot of these conversations in the future.
Kandi
Kandi and Cynthia meet to talk about the trip to Anguilla while describing their donkey booties. Todd doesn’t really want to go because the girls are drama. According to Kandi, they are scheduling the trip around Kim’s schedule, although Kandi hasn’t seen Kim lately. Kandi divulges that she feels that Nene always has an ulterior motive when she takes action. Even if it’s true, I’m not sure why she’s bringing it up now. Cynthia pretty much puts it to rest with saying that Nene doesn’t have a problem with Kandi, which is news to her.
Kandi meets up with Phaedra at a boutique to do some shopping. Phaedra loves Tags, Kandi’s store. Phaedra gets excited at the thought of a gift from Kandi, hoping it to be a penis ring. Too bad, it’s kegel balls to tighten the vagina. When she finds out she may get the penis ring before their trip to Anguilla, Phaedra lets out a happy noise of “zzzzzzzzzzz”. Now, Phaedra mentions that this trip is scheduled around Kim’s available dates.
Kandi makes it her mission to invite Kenya on the trip if Cynthia doesn’t. Sounds like the making of some drama!
Kim’s Last Meal
Cynthia and Phaedra are the first to arrive prior to the lunch to discuss their pending trip. Phaedra wears her Sunday’s best hat and brings flowers to apologize for saying that she doesn’t give a “f***” if Cynthia attended Ayden’s party. Good for her. She fessed up… that’s all that was necessary. Both women happily move on and the lunch seems to be starting out on a good note, until Kandi tells Cynthia she invited Kenya. Cynthia’s mood fell.
As much as they don’t want Kim and Nene to get into it, no one arranged the seating so that they weren’t RIGHT NEXT to each other. Everyone comes in smiling – and Kim arrives last.
Kenya ends up inviting herself since Cynthia didn’t (and Kandi didn’t speak up). Sad.
Kim agrees to bring Kroy to Anguilla, then immediately says that he will be in camp. On Watch What Happens Live, they showed that she made over a dozen excuses for not attending this trip. I don’t quite understand. She knew that the Anguilla trip was the subject of this luncheon. If she had no intention on going, why would she attend? EVERYONE seems surprised at this news since everyone made concessions to accommodate Kim’s schedule. All of a sudden, she is surprised that the trip is out of the US.
Phaedra addresses Kim and tells her that it doesn’t seem like she doesn’t have time for their friendship. Kim immediately agrees. The conversation goes downhill from there, with Kim blaming the lack of consideration on being previously slighted by the girls because they were late to various appointments. Now, Kim is not able to leave the country on those dates because of her pregnancy. She knew the dates of her pregnancy, she knew that she delivered her previous child early, she knew when the girls wanted to go… she was dead wrong for pulling out on them.
Instead of explaining herself, Kim storms out “with her belly and wig in tow”. I thought this was the last time we’d see Kim, but we may see her for a couple of minutes on next week’s episode.
Kim couldn’t leave the show soon enough. There are rumors that she’s getting her own show – yet there’s no show name, no anticipated start date, and as far as I can tell, they haven’t started filming. After seeing this episode, it doesn’t make sense that that Bravo would reward one of their cast with their own show after walking off their last one. It also doesn’t make sense that her story line solely includes her complaining of current housing situation and bossing Sweetie around. Does that sound like an interesting show to you?
Would you watch Kim’s spinoff? Did you watch Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding?
