In an interview this week with Entertainment Weekly Kyle Richards “confirms” that season five of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is a go. At first I found this a bit suspicious or maybe some wishful thinking on Kyle’s part as they haven’t filmed the RHOBH reunion, the reunion typically films in February.
I’m still a little skeptical that the women have been told season five is a definite, maybe it’s just wishful thinking on Kyle’s part, hoping her clothing line will be featured during season five. That’s about the only storyline Kyle will have if the rumors of her sister Kim Richards departure are true.
“You will [see my clothing line], eventually..” she told EW. “In this season, no, but in the upcoming season you will, because this comes out in February, and our show is wrapping around then.”
Rumor is also hitting that new addition Carlton Gebbia is out, “Carlton “hasn’t struck a chord with fans of the show this year. Producers are planning on firing her after this season – they are planning on revamping the entire cast like they did with the New York franchise,” an insider reports. This doesn’t surprise me, while I like Carlton, she just doesn’t add anything to the show except her wiccan storyline.
Producers are apparently happy with Joyce Giraud, viewership finally reached two million when viewers tuned in to watch Brandi Glanville and Joyce Giraud battle it out for the top she-dog spot on the show next to Lisa Vanderpump. Oh lawd, I don’t know if I can take another season of Joyce, can’t we send her off to Siberia already? Joyce adds absolutely nothing to the show. Without her constant cry of “Brandi’s a racist, Brandi’s a bully,” she has zero storyline.
With all the rumors floating around that the only two surviving franchises will be The Real Housewives of Atlanta and The Real Housewives of New Jersey, do you believe Kyle Richards claims that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is confirmed to return for season five? Whom would you like to see stay and whom would you like to see go?
