Chaplin and Kendal prepared for a visit from the Secretary of Defense for a supposed surrender.
Looking like the opening sequence of ‘Survivor’, Secretary of Defense Curry and guests arrived on speed rafts and hit the beach. He brought a show of force, a ‘fixer’ woman and Lt Shepard’s father. Unfortunately, Grace was dealing with radar battery replacement issues at that moment.

Back home, Kendal’s wife has a meet up with Autumn. Autumn has been shunned in D.C. and now she’s found her kindred. Mrs. Kendal knows her husband is dedicated to his country above all else.
Lt Shepard earned her wings, so to speak, and is finally respected by the Master Chief and crew. Drunk Navy Seal redeemed himself by helping out with the replacement of the radar batteries. That anvil was banged.

No teary reunion for Grace and dad. The Admiral shot and killed fixer woman as she was giving orders to the fast attack subs to attack the Colorado. The SecDef was injured and so out of there. He didn’t get what he came for. Everyone and the body were hustled into the rafts and left.
Chaplin and crew were still in their new home, left to wonder what was happening in their old one.
Last Resort will be preempted by the CMA’s next week. Tune in 8 November.
