Long weekends, holidays and eating as much crap as possible has finally disgusted me with what I see in the mirror! I’ve gained 25 pounds in the past 2 months and more than 35 in the past year! In high school it was so easy to stay thin. I then played college ball and looked and felt terrific! I’m not exercising as much and for sure am not eating properly. I have to get rid of 98 pounds of fat! I know you can help me. I’ve tried every diet under the sun and it is driving me crazy with failure after failure.

Don’t be too harsh on yourself! It is much easier to deal with any other addiction, food is a tough one for sure. It’s everywhere! And we HAVE to eat. It is extremely easy to overeat and gain weight especially as we get older! For the most part..men or women who are overweight, are carbohydrate addicts. BUT if you approach your issue in a scientific fashion, good news….will come your way. Let’s begin by saying it is not just about the diet, but about correcting the underlying biochemistry that is specific to you. For example, the lack of probiotics in the gut, low vitamin D3 levels or high levels of inflammation, would significantly inhibit any weight loss program and even if you did well at first, without fixing issues of these natures, you will still begin to place weight again on your body.
