Once Upon A Time- Tallahassee

The episode starts out with Captain Hook and the ladies (as I call them, Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Snow and Emma) at the base of the beanstalk that they have to climb to get the compass they need. Emma says what she remembers of the Jack and the Beanstalk fairy tale and Hook tells her she is wrong and that there were wars between humans and giants and that only the meanest giant ever survived and that it’s his beanstalk they have to climb. 

Emma then flashes back to her younger days when she jacks a car, and there is a guy in the back of the car she is stealing. Turns out he is also a car thief. His name is Neal Cassidy and he is Henry’s father.

And we are back in fairy tale land and Hook has a spell so that they can climb up the bean stalk. But he only has two, so the ladies all fight over who should go. They all want to go! But Emma wins. So Emma and Hook begin their journey up the stalk and Hook is very perceptive of Emma, like he knows she has a kid and feels abandoned. 

Then Emma flashes back again, it appears that she is pregnant, and they are trying to steal some stuff from a convenience store. Another patron notices what is up and Emma pretends she is in labor. They go to a hotel to get a shower, after another guest checks out but before housekeeping gets there. Neal tells Emma he wants to settle down and after some light arguing they decide on Tallahassee, where we get the title of this episode. 

Hook and Emma reach the top of the beanstalk and Emma is bleeding. Bad news because giants can smell blood. No worries Hook cleans her up with rum. 

What a quick time in fairy tale land, we are back in Portland, Oregon with a young Emma and her boyfriend Neal. He just found a poster of himself at the post office and he tells Emma he stole a bunch of watches. Emma offers to get the watches at the train station where he left them.

Fee Fie Foe Fum, here comes the giant. He’s huge! Emma knocks him out with the poppy seed power Mulan gave her. 

Back on the ground Snow is talking SB (Sleeping Beauty) through a bad dream she had. (Red room, on fire some one watching her). 

This episode just kept jumping around, Emma is now flashing back to the train station and she gets the watches with out incident and goes back to the stolen car, and her boyfriend leaves to go sell them. He is being followed. 

Don’t worry it’s just Pinocchio, he convinces Neal to let Emma go. He shows him something in a box. I want to know what it is. 

Emma goes to meet Neal but is instead met with a cop who arrests her for stealing the watches. 

In fairy tale world, the giant wakes up, he makes the roof crumble and it traps Hook. Emma ends up trapping the giant by using his trick wire against him. The giant is like “No humans are the bad ones” he seems like a sad guy. She gets the compass and he lets her go because even though she had the chance to kill him, she didn’t. 

She asks for 2 favors. I assumed it was going to be to save Hook, I was wrong because she ends up shackling him to the giant’s castle. 

She climbs down the beanstalk just in time because Mulan is about to cut the thing down, like Emma asked, because 10 hours had passed. 

Then we flashback to Emma in prison. She gets a letter and in it there are the car keys. And she is holding a positive pregnancy test. 

Then we go over to Storybrook, and Henry had just woken up from the same nightmare that SB had.
