Society talks about “lines we don’t cross” but those lines seem to be blurring with each passing day. Take for instance, Rex Reed’s review of the movie, Identity Thief posted Tuesday, here.
In his review of the movie Identity Thief, he refers to Melissa McCarthy as “humongous” and “tractor-sized” even going so far to say she has made a career out of being obese and obnoxious with equal success. He says she looks like a “female hippo.”
We understand not liking a movie but this definitely seems like it’s crossing the lines of human decency. Does Rex Reed have a personal grudge against Melissa McCarthy or was he just having a bad day?
