Well the Twitter rumor mill is churning out the dish and people are saying that Adrienne Maloof and Taylor Armstrong are being tossed out of their coveted spots on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
A source close to Evolution Media tells TVFishbowl that the top two contenders to replace Adrienne and Taylor are Dayna Devon from TLC’s show Plastic Wives and Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster. ”Producers fear the show is getting stale and are looking to make a major shakeup. They’ve been in talks with former Extra host Dayna Devon, she stole the show on TLC’s Plastic Wives, Evolution and Bravo think she’d bring what’s missing to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” the source states.
Penny Lancaster
Dayna is the wife of famed Beverly Hills surgeon Dr. Brent Moelleken, and speaks openly about her use of plastic surgeon to stem off the aging progress. Ironically Bravo is replacing one plastic surgeon maven for another, our Evolution Media source said ”Dayna may be replacing Taylor Armstrong who was once popular on the show, but has become a controversial figure following the suicide of her estranged husband Russell Armstrong, viewers are reacting poorly to her response of the death of Russell’s business partner causing her likability factor to dwindle.”
In another twist of irony Penny Lancaster wife of Rod Stewart is being considered as Adrienne Maloof’s replacement, Adrienne is currently dating Rod Stewart’s son Sean. ”Threatened legal action against NBCUniversal and producers over fellow housewife Brandi Glanville’s comments about Adrienne’s marriage and using a surrogate, has soured Bravo, producers and viewers on Ms. Maloof. Viewers no longer trust Adrienne,” the source stated.
Penny and newest housewife Yolanda H. Foster are friends, while Yolanda has started to grow on me, I’m not sure the Beverly Hills franchise can sustain another Yolanda. Other than high beams, what will Penny bring to the show?
