Lindsey Knickerbocker, 23, daughter of former Real Housewives of Orange County Tammy Knickerbocker, was arrested for drunk driving after ramming several cars and battery on a police officer.

According to cops, 23-year-old Lindsey Knickerbocker was arrested December 14, 2012,  after witnesses told police she had smashed into two parked cars on Balboa Island in Orange County’s Newport Beach.  Witnesses said Lindsey then fled scene, reportedly going to a nearby friend’s house.

Police followed Lindsey to the house,  and that’s Lindsey punched one of the arresting officers in the stomach, Newport Beach Police tell TVFishbowl. Lindsey was placed under arrest and charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol (23152(a) VC), Drive while blood alcohol level is 0.08% or more (23152(b) VC), Hit and run with property damage (20002(a) VC), and Battery on peace officer/emergency personnel (243(b) PC).   According to court documents, Lindsey is accused of having a blood alcohol content of .32% at the time of her arrest, that’s FOUR TIMES the legal limit in California.

Lindsey is scheduled to appear for arraignment February 12, 2013 at 8AM.

Tammy Knickerbocker appeared on season two and three of the Real Housewives of Orange County.

I think when someone DUI flees the scene they should be automatically kept in jail 48 hours, and I hope it’s a felony! Hope this girl gets her life turned around. Getting a DUI in ’02 or ’03 cost my daughter over $10K, BUT it’s probably saved her life. Calif. is very tough on drunk drivers & they have to go to so many classes, mtgs, pay HUGE fines & have SR22 for 10 yrs now? (went up from 7) I say be as tough as they can- it will save lives.
