Lisa Hochstein of The Real Housewives of Miami has brought a lawsuit against someone who has made allegations that Lisa was a Las Vegas escort and appeared in soft core porn.
Hochstein recently filed a lawsuit against a woman named Jessica Lederman, claiming that the random commenter in the comment section of an entertainment news website has “damaged her reputation and threatened both her employment and social life.”
Lisa isn’t taking the remarks siting down and has filed a lawsuit asking for more than $15,000 in damages!
Last night Lisa tweeted this:
There will always be anon. Haters but when the hate comes from someone you know and has even been in your home, you need to take a stand — Lisa Hochstein (@lisahochstein) January 28, 2013
I responded to Lisa’s tweet asking if she was claiming the woman who made the comment was a friend, Lisa has yet to respond.
@lisahochstein so you’re saying the woman who called you a whore and an escort is a friend? #WithFriendsLikeThat

WOW $15,000 or more for a ruined social life? Damn if I received $15k every time someone ruined my social life, I’d be a freaking millionaire. Given the number of distasteful comments that appear on any given site (TVFishbowl included), about every person famous or not, it seems to me that Lias is being a little extra-sensitive.
Tell us what you think in the comments, is Lisa overreacting or simply defending her reputation?

I thought that a very popular blog (yes, the one being sued) started that rumor a long time ago. Is this true?
