'Top Chef' finalist accused of 3 counts, including driving under influence

The Top Chef finalist and celebrity chef was arrested June 6, 2014 and charged with three drunken-driving counts, including driving under the influence, which indicates a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or higher.

The 38-year-old from the Frederick, Maryland opened several restaurants since placing second to his brother Michael on Top Chef in 2009, his Baltimore restaurant Aggio is less than a mile from the point of arrest.

Voltaggio’s other restaurants are in the Frederick and Washington areas, he also was the first Top Chef to compete on Top Chef Masters.
