What Can I Do Natural For Adult Acne?

Dear Dr. Mitch:drmitch

I have tried many different acne medications and I have side effects from many of them.  I’m 21 years old and have had acne since I was 14, nothing (medications) seems to really help.  I’m afraid I’m going to have unsightly scars and acne for the rest of my life.  What can I do as a more natural approach to fight this acne?

Dear A.S.:

You could consider a more natural program if acceptable to your health care practitioner including:

No fried foods, no fatty or sugary foods, 2 or 3 tablets of garlic at bed-time.

Make sure (if a female) you are not pregnant:

Organic Safflower Oil 2 TBS 2 times a day

Sovereign Silver Gel (rubbed on to the lesions and let air dry) 4 times a day

Evening Primrose   1000 mg 3 times a day

Super Bio Curcumin   1 two times a day

Ultra Prostate Formula (even if a female) 1 three times a day

8 glasses of water daily or more (1/2 your body weight in ounces at least)

Powdered Vitamin C  1 tsp twice a day

Vitamin D3K 2 twice a day

LEF Probiotics 1 three times per day

    I really admire Dr. Mitch as well. I love how he tackles more real, relatable subjects from a medical point of view.

    Dr. Mitch, may I ask you to please consider tackling the subject of how to stop smoking and not gain too much weight or any weight? And why do folks gain weight when they stop the ciggie habit, even if they don’t pig out on junk foods? If you may address this eventually, that would be a big help to me, personally. Bad habit, I know…
