Oh Andrae. He was much loved for his enthusiasm and emotional ups and downs. I always wanted to give him a hug.
We last saw him on Project Runway season 2 in 2006. Now 39 years old, Andrae has left L.A. for NYC.
His path hasn’t been easy and he’s very honest about the business and is passionate about the causes he supports: gender equality and environmental preservation.
Andrae’s favorite client is his boyfriend, a choreographer named Jamie Benson. Costume creation is something that speaks beyond daily fashion for Andrae and they’ve done well collaborating for theater.
He feels All Stars are made up of those who made an impact on the audience, positive or negative.
Looking forward to seeing how Andrea’s changed through his post Project Runway experiences. He said that he’s now learned to “use my words”.
